09.01.2022 I have to say the new R6 is an improvement. Plenty of laps today. The main changes are 43mm forks, 320mm rotors and new calipers, traction control, new sub-fram...e and tank and ergonomics/styling plus a quickshifter. It feels more sorted, more refined, but still that fantastic R6 it always was. The brakes are the biggest improvement as the outgoing brakes were a weaker point. The forks are sensational and the quickshifter faultless. I didnt feel a lot of difference with the shock, would have to ride back to back, and power-wise it feels pretty much the same. Still a quick little rig 253km/h into turn one - and an absolute blast. Good on Yamaha for updating a Supersport 600. They are so much fun!
