25.01.2022 Now that all of the excitement of the sale is over it is time to reflect on the week's events. We were completely blown away with the result on Saturday and feel very humble that people showed such confidence in our cattle. We were very proud of what we put up at the sale and would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended and everyone who placed a bid, either succesfully or unsuccessfully. We wish you all success with your purchases and may you achieve top prices with our bloodlines wherever you choose to sell. Sincere thanks to all. Stanley and Lesley
24.01.2022 The Droughtmaster Foundation Stud of Alma was dispersed on the weekend at the Dalby Saleyards to a strong gallery of leading studs who had gathered from as far ...afield as North Queensland and into NSW. With the first Alma registered female 'Alma 1' registered with the Australian Tropical Breeder's Association in February 1957, this sale saw the culmination of nearly 60 years of quality Droughtmaster pedigrees to go under the hammer. 16.01.2022 After the insane pace of the last 4 months things are beginning to slow up. Everything is falling into place, 13th of January is our last day at Alma. Hard to explain how we feel, there is the excitement of a new home and a less stressful existence, but definitely tinged with sadness leaving our home and the wonderful world of stud cattle. Both of us are looking forward to retirement and what it holds.
