18.01.2022 Fred Provenza's seminar today was thought provoking, as they always are. One new message is that the phytochemicals of the plants eaten by herbivores is in the fat of their meat. So eating grass fed beef enables you to ingest all the benefits of the plants growing at Alma. (Phytochemicals are the vast array of compounds in a plant eg oregano has over 200)

12.01.2022 Another thought from Fred: If you see research criticising red meat as a food source, find out if they have looked at grass fed meat. Usually the answer is NO, and they have researched grain fed (feedlot) meat, which we all know isn't any good!!
