21.01.2022 COVID-19 ALERT We have unfortunately been notified that a person who later tested positive to COVID attended our venue on Wednesday 16th December at 8:30pm. Anyone who attended Alma on Wednesday 16th December between 8:30pm and 11:59pm is considered a close contact and must immediately get tested and self-isolate for 14 days regardless of the result. Last Thursday before we were made aware of the case, and as soon as we closed the doors on our venue, we requested all staff co...nduct a test as a precaution. These have all since returned negative results. In light of the current circumstances Alma will remain closed until at least Thursday 31st December, we will continue to monitor directions provided by NSW Health and make a decision as things transpire over the coming days, again this will also take into account our commitment to our staff and community. Avalon as a town is currently taking a hit. We would like to acknowledge the effort or you all in responding so well in crisis, getting tested and following protocols. By doing this you allow local businesses and the greater community to work towards opening back up once it is safe to do so. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. For us this situation has only reaffirmed the face that in Avalon when things go south, we will all work together as a community to make sure we all come out the other side more resilient and connected. There is no place we would rather be!
