23.01.2022 There's excitement at ARCH with the completely redeveloped playground opening up on Friday. It looks terrific! Join our little tour here below. Please forgive the silly and slightly indulgent selfies and the clip that is in raw form at the moment. It is the end of term after all! Many thanks to the City of Port Phillip for funding and arranging this work. And thanks to all of our local and partying children and their adults for patiently waiting for the works to be completed.

21.01.2022 Behind the scenes at ARCH, the PPCG assists to organise street gatherings for the Neighbourhood Ngargee Program, in partnership with the City of Port Phillip. Today was the first Neighbourhood Ngargee of the summer season, and it was a terrific way to start. Well done to all involved! Port Phillip Community Group

20.01.2022 It was National Recycling Week this week, and in order to raise awareness the PPCG/St Kilda Legal Service Sustainability Working Group invited Brett Ledger Gree...nhouse Programs Officer from City Of Port Phillip, to visit our site and have a conversation about all things environmental. We talked about the multiple sustainable initiatives weve implemented since forming our Working Group in January 2019. Some of these include the removal of all desk bins which has reduced bin liner usage, Palm Oil List now on display across our sites to assist staff and volunteers in making ethical food choices, areas in fridge for communal food which reduces duplication and food waste, and many more. Brett also provided us with advice on how to create realistic, high level sustainability goals which we look forward to implementing in the future. #cityofportphillip #stkildalegalservice #nationalrecyclingweek

18.01.2022 Please see the notice from our Community Gardeners re the compost bins being closed. We love composting, but the bins are full up and really need time to do their thing (ie: compost!) Many thanks for your co-operation! Please note that for those who can get down there with their compost, the Port Phillip EcoCentre also accepts fresh compost. (ie not mouldy!) They are at the corner of the St Kilda Botanical Gardens, 55A Blessington Street, St Kilda. Access and opening hours,... as per the gardens - dawn until dusk. Port Phillip Ecocentre Te-Arai Community Garden Many thanks! See more
