23.01.2022 Hi everyone! As many of you may have seen already, face coverings will be compulsory in shops as of Monday. We will therefore kindly be asking any customer who enters the shop without one to please put a mask on. Since the start of the lockdown we have been doing everything we can and put extra measures into place to create a safe and hygienic environment to ensure the safety of our staff and customers. We have been following government guidelines strictly throughout this per...iod, and will continue to do so. The safety of you, our customers, and our staff is our top priority. Thank you all for continuing to support us during these strange and difficult times, we are so grateful that we have been able to stay open and keep serving you lovely lot! With cases rising again and government guidelines becoming stricter again, keep in mind all the small, local businesses who need support more than ever at the moment! 11.01.2022 Hi everyone, hope you’re all having a lovely Friday and enjoying this beautiful sunshine! Just wanted to share a bit of info with you all about one of the charities we work very closely with, and thank you all for the very kind donations you have been making, especially since the start of lockdown. Kate’s brother, John, is blind and works with a charity called Sight Cymru, an independent charity which pride themselves ‘on being the only entirely Welsh sight loss agency that ...provides services throughout Wales’ (http://sightcymru.org.uk). Before lockdown, every 5 pence paid for plastic bags was put into Sight Cymru’s charity boxes, and the majority of change our customers left as donations has gone to Sight Cymru as well. Since the start of lockdown, however, we have wavered the charge for plastic bags as it is an easier and safer transaction to pass food over the counter in a bag. Despite this, many of our lovely customers have continued to leave us the extra change to donate to the charity, which has meant that we have raised a wonderful 200 for Sight Cymru just in the last few months! This wouldn’t be possible without our amazing customers, so thank you so much to all of you for continuing to make donations, it means the world to us as this charity is very close to our hearts. Have a lovely sunny weekend and we look forward to seeing you lovely lot today for some fish and chips!

We just want to thank everyone for supporting us and all other local businesses over the last few weeks / months.
