14.01.2022 We've just updated our page about Search And Rescue. The Alpenverein Melbourne is a member of Bushwalking Victoria and supports Bush Search and Rescue Victoria with a handful of searchers. This year BSAR already helped the Police Search and Rescue squad on two successful searches. Hopefully this is a good omen for 2020 If you're an Alpenverein Member (or member of any Bushwalking Club) and fulfil the BSAR entry requirements, consider joining this group of volunteers Just get in touch with the BSAR delegate of your club.
