20.01.2022 A project from our back catalog. Thomas Carr College Performing Arts Centre Site completed in late 2017 Tonnage: 78 tonne... Cold-rolled: 1198.6 metres Ortech System: 872.6 metres Thomas Carr Performing Arts Centre included 2 levels of drama rooms, performance/practice spaces, staff offices & amenities and an auditorium that seated 500 people. The floor support structure contained multiple stairs and stepped timber floor areas all fully supported by structural steel. The main auditorium roof structure was supported on all sides by tilt-up precast panels that formed a segmented curved wall at the high end of the roof structure. A high degree of accuracy was required to communicate the steel to tilt-up panel requirements to the panel subcontractor. To meet acoustic design requirements the roof included double stacked Ortech Durra acoustic panel system, all fully modeled in 3D, detailed and supplied by Alpetros. The main building was required to adjoin to the existing gymnasium structure which was also being extended by others. Alpetros was able to import existing structural models and with our extensive QA process Alpetros detected geometry concerns with the adjoining structure. This concern was highlighted before steel fabrication saving the client time and money. 13.01.2022 Erected in late 2017 Hot-rolled: 252.2 tonnes Cold-rolled: 4992m... This multi-storey school building was a complicated project. The building consisted of three levels of steel supported bondek slab and six separate roof areas. Each floor and roof area were required to be split up into 8 separate fabrication phases, this allowed the erection to be performed in stages to meet site requirements. A high level of QA was performed by Alpetros and direct liaison with the consultants was required to resolve the design/support concerns which occurred on this project. This was handled in a professional manner and Alpetros has since been complemented on our attention to detail. We continue to work with Spencer Group Engineering on other projects. There were three design elements to this building which are notable; A sloping, mitred soffit line above the entrance to the building complete with a fully exposed custom fascia assembly. The fascia assembly required special care for both fabrication and transport due to its size. Exposed sloping wall plates on the north face of the building. There were several different sloping angles that were required to tie into window heads/sills and soffits. Multiple sloping ceiling lines containing hips and valleys were present at the roof level. All ceilings were set-out to achieve window head levels and to verify roof steelwork clearances. Project was constructed by Ireland Brown Construction Structural design by Spencer Group

09.01.2022 Project from our back catalogue. Goonyella Riverside Mine, Drop In Platforms. Erected in late 2016 ... Tonnage: 26.3 tonnes Grating: 156.8 m Handrails: 60.4 metres The two Rom Hopper Drop-In Platforms consisted of three level platforms which were required to be hinged to allow for each platform to be lifted in and out for access of the rom hopper during maintenance periods. Each Drop-In platform contained a cage ladder, hinged hatches and utilised the FRP Polyester Resin Grating by Webforge. The Monowill handrails were supplied in assembly panels complete with kickplates. Although the central gantries were identical, the platform layouts were mirrored between the two hoppers. Space was extremely tight on this project, Alpetros was contracted to assist with all the clashing steel elements and verify that all access clearance and height requirements met the Australian Code. 06.01.2022 To be erected in late 2018 Tonnage: 110.0 tonnes Cold-Rolled: 1105 metres This three level residence contained four separate steel supported bondek slabs and four separate roof areas supported on all sides by precast tilt-up panels. An interesting aspect of this project was the building height limitatons, this required all concrete slabs, structural steelwork and tilt-up panels to be incredibly accurate due to lower tolerances. ... To facilitate this Alpetros was also contracted to undertake the slab profile plans. All concrete slabs and precast tilt-up panels were modelled within Alpetros 3D steel model to achieve a high standard of accuracy and quality assurance. All drains, concrete rebates/penetrations and slab interfaces with precast tilt-up panels and pool areas were modelled. The IFC2x3 files allowed Alpetros to liaison directly with the consultants models and facilitated a flow of digital information between both workshop draftsman and consultant. 04.01.2022 Another project from our back catalogue, complete with 3D Rendered Video. Monash University Clayton Campus Nature Walk. Erected in Jan 2017 Tonnage: 82.8 tonnes ... Balustrades: 235 Custom Corten Panels The nature walk is a raised platform structure supported by large CHS section trestles. It is over 200m long in length and contained two viewer platforms. The structure was split into small 7.0m segments with each segment consisting of two main UB beams spaning between two trestles and many smaller PFC sections acting as joists. Timber cladding featured throughout the walkway and also as the main support rail on the balustrades. The interesting aspect of this project was the geometry, the walkway contained several intersecting segmented curves that sloped in elevation, creating several segmented ellipses. Further complicating this geometry were the custom cantilevered tee plate balustrade stanchions and corten perforated panels. The corten patterns were required to have different orientations throughout the walkway. To assist with the erection the bridge was split-up into staging areas and the walkway was sequenced from one end to the other. Project undertaken for T&S Welding and Fabrication Pty Ltd

02.01.2022 South Morang Toyota Showroom & Workshop. Erected in March 2018 Tonnage: 120 tonnes Cold-rolled: 4600+ meters ... An interesting aspect of this project were the vertical box gantries that acted as structural columns in the Showroom and Drive Thru areas. These gantries were required to form a seamless geometry with the roof parapet, vertical louver support frames and the alucobond wall/soffit cladding present on all sides of the Showroom and Drive Thru areas. This was further complicated by the vertical louver support frames which were required to pass through the full height glazing. Extensive liaison with consultants was required to achieve a seamless fascia/soffit surface and meet critical design requirements.
