According to this revealing article, "Investors jump ship as renters leave", there is an increasing... number of Investors trying to sell their Rental Properties because of financial stress. Factors such as rising vacancies and falling rental income are cited as reasons for the increase. The region with the highest number of rentals for sale was the ACT, with 1 in 5 properties an ex-rental. If you have a Rental Property and you are considering selling it, your Real Estate Agent should have a good data base of Property Investors. Also, it is important to understand that we are now in a Buyers Market, and the Agent may not be able to get pre-CV prices, no matter what they tell you, although you should still be able to get a good price in most areas.
