09.01.2022 I know a lot of people have already heard of the new developments with regards to the new restrictions in Queensland due to the latest COVID cases. It would appear from 5pm this evening the following restrictions WILL apply in Alpha, pending any further clarification from the Department of Health Masks are to be worn when indoors (except at home) Hospitality must be seated Private gatherings restricted to 30 people... Aged care, hospitals, disability care and prisons will close to visitors At this time I have already burned through my remaining face masks here, I already have more on order for Wednesday. I would strongly encourage anyone who does not already have any masks to get their weeks shopping done this afternoon if possible, or wait until I get more Wednesday morning. I will update this post when I get any more clarification from official sources, including how long these restrictions will last for.
