14.01.2022 We have our History Intensive with Ps Josh Newington starting Monday 24th of June. We asked Ps Josh to tell us about it, read below. Christianity has been called an historical religion because God has revealed himself in history. The task of being Gods people has always been about joining with God in the work that He is doing in historybeing a part of His-story. To join in this story, we need to know it. If we dont know how God has worked in the past, we can miss how and where he might be acting in the present. We need to be a part of what he is doing now, so that we invest our lives in the things that are a part of the glorious future that God has planned. 08.01.2022 We are excited to have Dr Kevin Hovey with us next week teaching Introduction to Cross-Cultural Missions. This subject is for those who have a heart for missions and want to be equipped to reach other cultures with the Gospel. Dr Kevin has decades of missions experience, and it is this combination of experience and academic qualifications that Kevin draws on in the class. The course will cover topics like: Why of Missions, Planting and Facilitating Church Movements, Power of Language, and preparing for Short and Long-term Missions. This unit has no pre-requisites and counts towards your degree, alternatively study it as an audit student in preparation for your calling in missions! Email [email protected] for more info
