24.01.2022 During French class with Miss Segolene, the children were learning how to say shark, dolphin, snake, butterfly and dragon in French! They then engaged in some yoga time holding positions for each animal they had learnt how to say. 21.01.2022 Pyjama week arts and crafts' fun. The Wallabies became fashion designers for the day and designed their own pyjamas. 20.01.2022 The children in the Wallabies requested to do some cooking. As a class they decided on apple and cinnamon muffins. Following on from the cooking experience Miss Maddie and Miss Kat set up a wonderful dramatic play section for the children to engage in kitchen role play. 17.01.2022 The kookaburras enjoyed working on their literacy skills using reading eggs. During this activity they showed great letter recognition as they easily identified each letter and could find items around the room that began with these letters. We then extended on this and began looking at words ending in at. 02.01.2022 We enjoyed our first session with Happy Feet Fitness today. Miss Liesel had the kids' attention for the entire time. Today's theme was Camping. The children learned about sitting around the camp fire, underneath the stars, singing camping songs whilst playing theit guitars. Puppet Ranger Stacey spoke to them about fire safety.
