21.01.2022 Another year of Jiu Jitsu done! Our kids have put in such amazing effort and commitment to their growth in Jiu Jitsu this year. They have made new friends & family, they have become a lot stronger, a lot more confident and progressed so so well. Congratulations to you all! You are amazing! It’s been a pleasure and I am truly honoured to be apart of their journey, also to have taught and grown with them throughout this crazy year. ... It goes without saying, you all are such an integral part of our team, an inspiration and we are so happy you train here! Means the world! 2021 is going to be a blast! More fun, more accomplishments and more Jiu Jitsu!!! Can not wait. We are going to have a little Christmas party/ movie night to celebrate! We will also be closed that following Saturday the 10th October for which a catch up class is scheduled on Friday the 16th October 2020.... With BJJ the sacrifice comes in the form of mental & physical exertion, giving up time toward other pursuits while gaining time on the mats, it may even go so far in the losing and changing of those in your inner circle. Obsessed! Fanatic! Don’t you talk about anything else?! Those people who don’t understand your commitment or refuse to open their hearts to your passion by supporting you will be the first to go, followed by those who become angry because you don’t have the time for anything else. Regardless of others viewpoints, be true to you, to your journey & vision. Don’t compare yourself to others or their accomplishments. That isn’t what this is about. Jiu Jitsu is all about solving problems that are rapidly changing under stress, and that gives you the ability to identify the crux of the problem in front of you, even in a stressful situation and adapt your body and tactics to overcome that problem and continue overcoming it as the problem itself changes. ... 05.01.2022 2020. A crazy year. Challenging to say the least. It has really tested the capacity to recover from difficulties and to continue to move forward. Just like Jiu Jitsu! ... A well earned break! We hope you take the time to rest, recover and celebrate the milestones each and everyone of you have achieved both on and off the mats! Lets celebrate not only our wins but lets also acknowledge our defeats. For they have made us evermore resilient, sharper and more determined when facing adversity. Everyone of us has endured and comeback stronger than before confirming that the comeback is always greater than the setback. We are motivated to welcome the challenges ahead. As this year comes to a close, just want to say a massive thank you to all students! Thank you for you time, hard work, dedication, commitment and your endless support. You are all truly valued members of the team and the place just wouldn't be the same without all of you! There is a few days left of training this year. Lets get it!
