24.01.2022 Today, on our beautiful grounds here at AGS, our ELC to Year 2 students enjoyed a Christmas Picnic with their Teddy Bear friends! The students brought their teddy bears and stuffed toys from home to spend the day with them as they sang songs, played rainbow parachute games, enjoyed a picnic in the shade, and blew bubbles. What a gorgeous day to spend with their friends.

22.01.2022 Our ELC students are thrilled to be back on campus with their friends! Here are some lovely shots of our ELC students enjoying our unique language immersion program this week. As part of our language immersion program, ELC students spend one day each week going about their day immersed in Greek language. They are encouraged to ask questions in Greek, converse in Greek, and they complete activities in Greek.
21.01.2022 Just a normal Wednesday in our Early Learning Centre. Our ELC is a richly creative play based learning environment for preschool aged children. We appreciate each childs unique individuality and we strongly believe that the most powerful way that children learn is through play. Each Wednesday in ELC we practice our Immersive Language program, which involves staff and students communicating in Greek for the duration of their morning activities.

16.01.2022 Today, Alphington Grammar School celebrates R U OK? Day, a day that reminds people to ask the ever-important question, "are you OK?". In a time when many of us feel more disconnected than ever, it is even more essential for us to reach out to our friends and family who may be struggling and show them that we care. This year, we would like to encourage members of our community to reach out to at least one person and ask them, "are you OK?". This can be done in four easy steps...: 1. Take a moment to ask R U OK? 2. Listen to what they have to say. 3. Encourage action such as speaking to a trusted adult, parent, guardian, or School counsellor. 4. Check in with your friend to make sure they are doing alright.
