15.01.2022 Importance of sensory play in children's development. We are very lucky to have students from Chislohm Institute who come into our service with enthusiasm, passion for teaching and with great ideas! This week our students provided a sensory Experience for our children and we can see how much fun they had and how much they learned through this Ice activity! The children develop their cognitive,problem solving, language, fine motor, gross motor,maths, social learning and mindfulness skills. Well done everyone!

03.01.2022 What a great week at Alpina Early Learning Centre, we have started to incorporate Sustainability Practices into our curriculum. We began our joyful journey by educating and encouraging young minds to understand the concept of sustainability. Alongside, parents and families collaborated with our mission by bringing and donating recyclable materials from home which includes plastics, papers, cans, cardboards etc. Kudos!!! for making us achieve our goal. With this, we have ma...de a BIG DIFFERENCE in the community, our planet and impacted our active learners mind. Importantly, Guess what????? We have accomplished a simple SENSORY BOARD out of recyclables. EYLF OUTCOME Learning Outcome 2: Children are connected and contribute to their world by becoming socially responsible and show respect for their environment. Learning Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners by resourcing their own learning through natural and processed materials.
