19.01.2022 Hi all, Just a friendly reminder that this side of winter is the best time to have your wood heaters serviced and below are a few reasons why; (a) Your combustion or open fire place is sitting cleaned and ready to light when the colder days and nights kick back in;... (b) If there are any issues with it, we have some time for repairs; and (c) It will encourage the household to be proactive with their wood supply so its ready to go. Just because it has been working well up until now, it doesn’t mean it's going to work as good next winter. What generally happens is the creosote loosens through summer, falls down and blocks the entry point smoking out the house when it's lighted again.
