19.01.2022 A massive Congrats to Roland Schai, the winner of our Mother's Day Competition! Keep an eye on your mailbox, we hope that everyone has an excellent Mother's Day weekend!
18.01.2022 It has been challenging times for all of us, yet we have all managed to work together to find ways to support each other as we hopefully near the end of COVID-19. However, the Bureau of Statistics revealed that in the first three months of 2020, Australias economy shrank for the first time in nine years and removed any doubt that we are in a recession. Alseasons has been through 3 recessions and a Global Financial Crisis (GFC) in 2007-2008. So as a company how and what have... we learnt from these economic downturns? Whether a company or a family, the first is step is to stay positive, pay back debt, identify ways to cut back, live within our means and focus on both the short term and the long haul ahead. As with an individual we are taking the time to educate and upskill our team this will not help us get out of a recession but when the recruitment doors reopen employers are going to ask What did you do during the recession not everyone has the opportunity to upskill yet there is always volunteering your time. Our focus is not how many jobs we fill every week but on the diversity of the clients that are booking. The key to any success is not to put all your eggs in one basket. This has been a driving focus/force to the success of Alseasons and when the curtain lifts, our job numbers will bounce back at an incredible rate. So our staff, whether on jobkeeper or jobseeker know the importance of keeping in-touch and likewise we are continually in touch with both clients and our casual team. The governments new plan to lift restrictions has brought great hope to businesses and individuals, NOW is the time to restart and rebuild the economy. With restrictions being lifted all across the country, the hospitality industry will play a big role in making sure that a second wave doesnt occcur and we too as a company and an individual must play our part in adhering to our Governments policies. As winter approaches the flu season will soon be upon us, so please make sure that if you have any cold or flu like symptoms you are tested for COVID-19. Alseasons has included in our Policies and Procedures that all office and casual team members get a flu shot to protect themselves and our community The Alseasons office team are here to answer any questions or if you need any assistance so please contact us. Stay safe, stay informed.
18.01.2022 Love our hospitality teams! #hospitality #hospitalityjobs #events

15.01.2022 Staying true to our Hospitality roots for our Friday meetings! As most of the team works from home and telecommutes in for meetings, the team in the office is keeping things hospitality by converting one of the desks each week into a cocktail bar! Last week's in-office cocktail bar was designed by Audrey, styled by Anabela and executed by Chelsea.
14.01.2022 People always think that the end of the financial year is just something businesses have to deal with, very wrong. Everyone should have an end of the financial year plan in place to wrap up their budgets, review their spending and plan for the next year. What is your Big Picture? Take a moment to reflect on the goals you had or have in place; are they still current, are there any tweaks you would like to make? Do you have a budget or goals that you want to achieve in the new ...Continue reading

13.01.2022 Back in the days before social distancing. It's hard being away from you all. Make sure you stay in contact with your friends and colleagues. Just because we can't be together doesn't mean we can't stay in touch. #socialdistancing #covid19 #reachout #hospitality
13.01.2022 Since we cant go outside, we decided to bring the outdoors in during one of our online meetings! This amazing creation was put together by Anabela (and mother nature!).
12.01.2022 At Alseasons, we have your back. We will continue to support you behind the scenes. Our amazing front line staff who are supporting businesses through these times are enduring 24/7 shifts. Our dedicated team of casuals are there every day working in the kitchens of aged care and retirement facilities and essential services performing their duties with a smile and a sense of pride. Our team are all aware of their responsibilities in keeping healthy, sensible and staying proact...ive during COVID-19. And to assure you, our casual team working in aged care, retirement and essential services have been immunised with the flu vaccination. As a labour hire agency, we have published our COVID-19 policies and procedures to our clients and staff and are happy to share them with you even if you are not a client or a member of our casual team. We are a strong society and ask that you stay safe and adhere to our governments requirements. We look forward to the end of this pandemic. But in the meantime, we are continuing our work and continue to communicate with you through these unpredictable times.

10.01.2022 We love to see local businesses adapting during these times to keep their staff busy and to continue to serve their community. We just want to shout out one of our favourite local cafes - The Local Trade Kellyville who have pivoted from their normal cafe operations to also creating delicious cook-at-home pastas and pies. Keep up the amazing work guys!... If you have a local hospitality business that has adapted and are keeping busy let us know in the comments!
09.01.2022 Who's ready to knock out 2020 with a bang? #events #hospitality #hospitalityjobs
09.01.2022 I just want to say a BIG thank you to NSW. I truly believe we have done an incredible job in staying safe and keeping COVID at bay. We still have a long way to go so let’s not get complacent. Being in hospitality labour hire, we felt the effects of COVID immediately after the announcements of event restrictions and closures of venues. We knew that we had to act quickly to look after the Alseasons family, both in the office and in the field. We changed our office roster to hav...e 50% of the team working from home to create safe bubbles of staff so that should anyone become infected we could still run Alseasons remotely. Now we have the team back in the office which is so good for our morale. Our main challenge was to support our clients by isolating teams of staff at singular sites for the duration of the assignments, and ensuring a negative COVID-19 test result before going anywhere else. Our staff are compliant, professional and have acted with diligence with tests and isolation. Alseasons has been around for many years and are thankful for having such a large client base, so when COVID hit we still had a large pool of clients still booking their casual staffing requirements with confidence in Alseasons knowing that our commitment to compliance would ensure the safety of their staff and visitors. Coming into what we call the silly season with the start of Melbourne Cup, the glorious warm weather and the lifting of some restrictions, the hospitality industry will sigh with some relief that things may not get back to normal but will offer the opportunity to entertain their clients and guests and show the resilience of the hospitality industry. As for Alseasons we are so proud to be in hospitality and we will feel the knock-on effect of our clients reopening their venues, and we are here to support them with our team of professional hospitality staff ready, willing and waiting to serve their clients.

08.01.2022 Cheers to the Long Weekend! Keep safe and celebrate!
08.01.2022 We dressed up our desk with dacquoise, quiche and cupcakes for our weekly team meeting! This wonderful arrangement was put together by Anabela!
07.01.2022 Alseasons has enrolled in the JobKeeper Coronavirus Economic Response Package (Payments and Benefits), which means our regular and systematic casual staff which have been employed by Alseasons for a period of 12 months and are an Australian resident as at 1 March 2020 and are eligible employees as well as our fulltime office team. It has been an emotional challenge for our office team as we navigate our way around the JobKeeper rules and regulations and I can understand why m...any companies did not proceed with JobKeeper, as it all sounded very simple until we began the journey and the cost. A special thank you to Imagine Accounting, Justine our relationship manager at the ATO and our external IT guru and of course our dedicated HR team. Our eligible team members will be paid a top up to their wages if they are earning are less than $1,500 (before tax) per fortnight. Its a pity that it wasnt based on the UK 80% of your gross wages, which to me seems a lot fairer and include all casual staff that have paid PAYG. I would like to remind our clients that we still have teams of people working in many sectors including aged care and a reminder to our casual team that we are still working 24/7. I thank our staff from the bottom of my heart and pray that they all stay safe. Safety is paramount, we have always made it a priority to protect the wellbeing of our staff and clients and their clients. Safety is everyones responsibility. My thoughts are with you and your families and I trust you're continuing staying safe and healthy during COVID-19. Please keep adhering to the rules and regulations implemented by the Australian Government Department of Health. Life is still very unpredictable in lots of ways playing havoc on both our physical and emotional health, so this may be the time to reach out to family, friends, your employer and or support services. If you need more information, help, or assistance in anyway please feel free to contact our office team.

04.01.2022 We have been productive in the last few months with the on boarding of new clients, for both casual and ongoing work. Our boardroom and concierge bookings are increasing which means that front of house is starting to pick up. Our office team have worked hard at staying in touch with over 900 clients by phone and email and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. So many clients are looking forward to working with the Alseasons team again We have continued to refine our... COVID-19 prevention processes based on the emerging best practices from the Australian Department of Health, SafeWork Australia, and the Restaurant and Catering Association. We are extremely pleased that our office staff, our casual team and our clients are really taking COVID-19 seriously and to date we have placed staff in some of Sydneys hot spots knowing that our staff will be safe and issued with the correct PPE and PPE instructions. Our office team have created a safe bubble for us to work in and to protect each other at work. We have all come to the realisation that COVID-19 will be with us for some time yet, so we cant let down our guard and need to stay positive. It has been a busy period, but none of these achievements would be possible without the tremendous and unfailing support of our loyal clients and our office and casual team. For that I am ever grateful and wish to say a humble thank you for continuing to support Alseasons and making us your preferred staffing agency.

01.01.2022 John was a pleasure to work with throughout the Olympics bid. He always had a big smile and treated our team with respect. Our thoughts are with his family and colleagues and he will be remembered fondly.
