24.01.2022 Loyal Supporters, It is with great sadness and regret that we must announce the cancellation of our inaugural Gala Ball to be held on the 2nd of November. Unfortunately due to extremely low ticket sales, we cannot in good conscience proceed with the event knowing that it will incur a substantial loss, and reduce the funds available for us to donate to our benefactors. We would like to thank The Zombies for their compassion and understanding. We look forward to catching up wit...h you at one of your gigs, and by way of an apology, buying you all a beer. For those of you who did buy tickets to the event, a full refund will be processed over the next few days, so you will incur no loss as a result of our decision to cancel. The 2019 Major raffle draw will occur as scheduled on the 2nd of November, with the draw and results to be posted on our Social Media profiles. We appreciate your understanding and support as we make this difficult decision. We will endeavour to provide you with details of our 2020 schedule of events at the earliest opportunity. Regards, The Al’s Ride Incorporated Management Committee

22.01.2022 Hello Ladies & Gents. Some of you may have received emails or seen AL's RIDE Facebook posts about our Gala Ball which is on Saturday 2 November, at Lily's Function Centre at Seven Hills in Sydney. Great venue with The Zombies (from Illawarra) fabulous band who put on an epic show. Tickets are $150-00 per seat, please consider that this fee includes dinner, beer, wine & soft drinks plus entertainment. We have Alex CULLEN (7 Sunday Night) as Master of Ceremony. AL's RIDE will ...be donating all proceeds to The Charlie Teo Foundation from this event with the success providing valuable funds to continue research into brain cancers which can affect any one of us. There are tables of 10 with Corporate Tables available. I urge you to come along and join in this Halloween theme, there will be face paint available at the tables if you wish to add to the vibe. If you're able to share, promote or put us in touch with anyone able to supply quality auction items we will be extremely grateful. Our 2019 major raffle will also be drawn so there will be the opportunity to walk away with some great cash prizes. Our charity recipients do fantastic work and need to be promoted and supported to continue their vision. .. Thanks for reading and we hope to see you there. .. Regards, Keith. See more

13.01.2022 Hello AL’s RIDE riders and supporters, After a great deal of consideration, conversation and deep thought plus a deal of sadness we have decided to cancel the AL’s RIDE events for 2020. This decision was not taken lightly and will heavily impact on any opportunity to raise funds for our charities Redkite and the Charlie Teo Foundation who both provide exceptional service to those suffering from cancer and other serious illness.... Unfortunately the fires earlier in the year caused us to delay our ride event until late August where we were looking forward to having a car event plus bringing motorcyclists to enjoy the roads to Bathurst together with the evening of entertainment and cheer. The COVID 19 pandemic with continuing uncertainty regarding large gatherings and the potential of a seconds wave of infections means that we could still be forced to cancel at any time which means a great deal of work in organising plus many bookings, plans, venues, raffles, auctions and made being made then have a varying possibility of being cancelled. AL’s RIDE 2021 will have the motorcycles and function all happening on Saturday 20th of February, 2021. If you wish to continue supporting our charities through 2020, you can still donate, either through the links on our website www.alsride.org.au or directly through the www.redkite.org.au and/or www.charlieteofoundation.org.au (Please make sure you mention AL’s RIDE when making any donation) Our car event will be organised and run by the King Of The Mountain Car Club at Bathurst with our support and involvement. We will advise of the date when able. In the meantime, please keep safe, remember social distancing was introduced for many good reasons and should be kept in mind to avoid ongoing problems. Keith Ryan, President, AL's RIDE Incorporated.

10.01.2022 Good Morning, We know, we know, you woke up this morning and things look a bit bleak outside, but the weather bureau is forecasting clearing showers! So why not take a chance for a great cause? Jump in your car and come and meet us at Richmond, Bathurst or O’Connell for a cruise and a Show’n’Shine. ... We leave Richmond at 9:15, Bathurst at 10, and if you want to see the Show’n’Shine, we’re there from 12:00pm - 4:00pm See you there!

08.01.2022 Now here's a short video for those interested in AL's RIDE Car Cruise Show & Shine. .. Any resemblance to an excerpt from a Blokes World episode is purely coincidental and totally unintended.

07.01.2022 Hi guys, this about getting out with your pride and joy, bringing the family along, checking out the magnificent machinery on show (car, bikes, trucks, tractors and basically anything with wheels can be shown) But you can also bring the family ride and enjoy the cruise from Bathurst or Richmond, then enjoy the atmosphere whilst supporting AL's RIDE and helping to raise funds for REDKITE and The Charlie Teo Foundation so that another child and family affected by brain cancer may have a better outcome. Cheers, Keith Ryan

07.01.2022 Hi Riders and Followers, .. Just a reminder that we have postponed our annual ride until 29 August. .. NOT 15 February as originally planned and still on our website which will be fixed soon.... .. With all the bush fires going on we don't want added people being put in danger or causing more work for our already busy emergency services. Plus this will give some time for affected areas we travel through to get back on their feet to make the most of our patronage. .. We'll keep you advised. I'm the mean time, stay safe. .. Regards, AL's RIDE Crew See more

05.01.2022 Hi Guys, AL's RIDE Car Cruise Show & Shine is definitely on this SATURDAY 30 March. .. See you at the Cruise start or the O'Connell Hotel. ..... Bring your every day ride if you like and enjoy the day. .. Reminder also that there will be a group travelling directly to O'Connell from the rest area on the Great Western Hwy, just passed the Mudgee turn off. Cheers, Keith.

03.01.2022 We hope everyone had a safe trip home from AL’s RIDE 2019 last weekend. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended our rides and helped to make our event as fantastic as it was. We would like to congratulate Mick Kelly of Portland with ticket number 391 who won the first of our $500 minor prizes. Your prize money is on its way! Finally, we would like to thank Bikebiz, Blue Liners Australia and the Northern Beaches Social Riders for their ongoing support of our event.

02.01.2022 Only a few days until AL's RIDE 2019.
