25.01.2022 OK, it's happening this time! This Saturday, Bob Sherwell and Flametree's Joel Baker will jumping to raise $$$ for our local young people at risk. They'll be in the air at 11:00am and likely be landing at Sumners Creek Inlet 500m north of Coolum Main beach. This is subject to conditions on the day. We'll keep you posted. 24.01.2022 The Annual Any Bites Camp is on again in October! We have some kids that really want to come but because of extreme financial hardship they need some help. If we can raise $800, then everyone can join us on the Any Bites Camp this year! Your tax-deductible donation will make a huge difference in a young person's life!

24.01.2022 This Saturday, Al Taylor For Kids will be having a fundraising sausage sizzle at the Christmas Carols at the Nambour Showgrounds. We're proud to be serving our onions in their rightful place. If you can't make it to our sausage sizzle, you can still support us by buying a virtual sausage, while at the same time supporting our local young people and sending out a message that onions belong on top!

03.01.2022 It's with tears that I write to you all our friends to deliver the sad news that our much loved Bob Sherwell has gone home to Heaven. Four months off being 89, Bob passed away yesterday at 6:00pm, and while Heaven will be rejoicing, we are left to miss having him in our lives. Bob was a pretty unique kind of guy. The input he had into the lives of so many was staggering. He was a man of action - if he saw a need he would do something about it. Not content with watching life... go by, in his eighties, Bob continued to raise money for local charities, participating in the Mudjimba Island Swim, the Sunshine Coast Marathon, and skydiving not once but three times! Bob was unstoppable. Once he made his mind up there was no changing it. Personally I remember him telling me at 87, his plans of skydiving at Coolum for Freefall for the Future (after skydiving the year before). I was concerned about how he would go, and so I was grilling him with questions to check that he felt fit and strong enough. He said to me, "John, I'm not meeting with you to ask your permission." That was Bob! While talking with Bob recently, I know without a doubt that Bob had no fear or doubts about the journey ahead of him. So today, nearly 10 years after the accident that so tragically took Allan and his daughter Kari, Bob meets them again.
