19.01.2022 The newest Australian Defence Force Medics Course is currently undertaking their nursing care unit in their training and they needed Volunteers to practice shaving so they are able to help the elderly on there future placements, The COMDT of ALTC and a few others stepped up to show their support.

17.01.2022 Today the COMDT of ALTC had the privilege of presenting the OZ Lattouf Award to SGT Michelle Mazins who was commended for her exemplary performance as the Assistant Royal Australian Air Force Liaison Officer responsible for providing administrative support within Vehicle Technology Wing at the Army School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.

12.01.2022 Today marks 20 years of advocacy support from Hume Veterans, Wodonga, Victoria. This afternoon the Father of CPL Cameron Baird VC, MG, Mr Doug Baird who brought along Cameron's VC and Medals was in attendance to support the work of the Hume Veterans along with the local ABC Radio and the COMDT and the RSM of ALTC.

11.01.2022 On Satuday 20 May 2017 around 500 members of ALTC celebrated their relationship with the cities of Albury and Wodonga and participated in the Freedom of Entry Parade. Commandant of the Army Logistic Training Centre, Colonel Maclean said it was an honour to be granted the privilege of Freedom of Entry to both the City of Albury and the City of Wodonga. This was first granted in 2001 and ALTC have excercised their right to March in 2001 and 2007. The five Banners of ALTC were... paraded, and we were fortunate to be accompanied by the Australian Army Band Kapooka and the Wodonga City Brass Band. The Parade was a great success! First... joining the Army in 2001, CAPT Alvarenga spent eight years as a medic, before setting his sights on a nursing degree undertaking two years of study and two years of work placements before re-joining the Army as an SSO nursing officer in 2014. Having been both a soldier and an officer, CAPT Alvarenga is uniquely placed to understand the requirements of those he instructs. Our instructors have the future of our Army in their hands. "Bulwarra" opened on the 4th of March 1971 and still exists to provide low cost holiday accommodation for the Defence Community. By increasing awareness we are able to ensure the viability of Bulwarra, honour the historical intent for the facility and increase circulation so more members can take advantage of what is a unique and affordable holiday opportunity.
