22.01.2022 Alteration House Almost time for some students to head back to school Im sure most of them are super excited to head back but above all...catching up with... their friends Check to see if they need hems down, not just up. They would have definitely grown since they last wore their uniforms. Open for all alterations that dont require to one contact. You will need to pin up hems or put in a similar item of clothing that fits good in your bag of alterations so we can follow. There are a couple of changes to trading days and hours to continue running our service's. All safety procedure's are in place to protect my team & clients # 1 Trading Hours Monday -Friday 10am-5pm By appointment only. # 2 Drop off & pick up's at front door in a container/tub that will be at the door. Drop off & pick up's need to also be booked in. Im truly greatful to all my clients for your love and support over the and throught the 2020 pandemic. Above all stay safe! Paula

03.01.2022 ALTERATION HOUSE IS RELOCATING Alteration House is moving to Essendon within the next 2 weeks. Ive been in Berwick for the past 20 years.... I've made so many friends living here. Met so many lovely clients, some who have become close friends. Over the lockdown it got me thinking...there's more for me to do, more for me to offer, I wasn't going to let this lockdown close my buisness up! I've been a dressmaker for over 30 years and 2020 wasn't going to be my final year of trade!! It's been a hard decision to move from the area. Im a single parent with 3 teenagers who were all born in Berwick. They all attended school here in Berwick, Beaconsfield & Officer campases, its not going to be an easy. They will still attend school here till the end of the school year. On my way to do school drop off's I will be doing contactless pick up and drop off alterations for my clients who still want to use my services. Its a huge decision I've made as I dont know anyone in Essendon, Im only going on a gut feeling and faith that it will all be ok Opening a shop has been a life long dream of mine, one that I didnt think would be achievable but Ive never been one to not challenge myself. The shop wont be open till maybe end of November, mid December, there's alot to do there but it'll be buisness as usual for me, I will keep working on my alteration orders and made to order garments. I am also working on a new label I will be launching too. Yep I will also be launching another buisness Please come down and say hi (once the restrictionshave been lifted) I'd love to see some of my amazing clients and friends I made here. Im just down the rd from Essendon DFO so make it a fun shopping trip. Thank you to all my amazing clients and friends. And I wish all the buisness's in the area the best of luck.
