15.01.2022 Hair Festival RESCHEDULED to September 2021 -- BREAKING NEWS!! -- With bitter disappointment we are confirming the rescheduling of the inaugural Hair Festival ...from 13-14 June 2021 to September 2021. The decision was made following the extension of Victoria’s current lockdown by a further seven days, to end 10 June 2021. We feel rescheduling Hair Festival is simply the right thing to do in solidarity with the hair industry. While we’re confident the event would have been a great success, going ahead without our friends and colleagues from the industry in Victoria was simply unthinkable to us! Hair Festival in September 2021 will take place at the same venue, Carriageworks in Sydney. All constituent components of the event, including REALtalk, MarketPlace, Hair Festival Wonderland, Festival Education Sessions, Hair Festival Competitions and The Australian Hairdressing Council’s (The AHC) Schmoozefest will all move to the rescheduled September date. Ticket-holders and registrations will be automatically transferred to the new date so no action is required at this stage. Further confirmation of the dates in September will follow in the coming days. STAY TUNED. Note, Mocha Publishing, organisers of the AHIA awards, have announced that the gala dinner will still go ahead as planned on Monday 14 June.
