14.01.2022 Good morning to you all, I just thought I would reach out while there's still plenty of time to organise things and accrue a decent body of potential clients before the final stint of my BHSc (Naturopathy) degree kicks off in mid-2021. This will involve doing 4 separate Naturopathic Clinical Practicum units between July, 2021, and March, 2022. After these are finished, I will be graduating as a registered Clinical Naturopath with a deep focus on Integrative Naturopathic On...cology (providing herbal and dietary treatment protocols to patients going through or finishing chemotherapy, radiotherapy etc.) and will begin taking consultations both from a home-based Wellness Clinic, and online, through Telehealth consults. Once I begin my first Clinical Practicum unit in July, 2021, I will most likely just be observing senior students for the first few weeks while they conduct a holistic consultation on their own clients, in order to see how things are done and to get comfortable with working in an extremely fast-paced and professional clinic environment. After this, it will be time for me to start bringing in my own client's (of all ages) through online marketing, word-of-mouth, and possibly even directly off the streets of Perth City if anybody decides to visit the Wellnation Clinic while they are out shopping in the city. So I figured it's never too early to start marketing and 'selling' myself as a final year Naturopathy student. That way, when the time comes to jump into the clinic environment in a little more than 6 months time, I will hopefully have a nice little body of potential client's to hit the ground running with. It will also mean that I will (hopefully) not need to stress about not having enough clients to meet the expected consult quota for each clinic block/unit.
