25.01.2022 Thank you! We've had a few huge days this week, the post office definitely knows us know if they didn't before. We've just caught up and the last flurry of parcels are ready to be posted in the morning (plus any extras ordered tonight). Thank you to everyone who has ordered, messaged, enquired, dropped in to pick up and followed us on social media.

22.01.2022 I think there's a few issues with my posting between Instagram and Facebook, so apologies if you see this twice. This is our newest dress fabric, just added to the website today. It's a beautiful viscose stretch jersey, that is soft and forms lovely drapes. It's instantly become my favourite fabric in stock <3

Originally used for production in early 2000 what we have left just sneaks in being classified as vintage, if you follow online selling platform guidelines. 20.01.2022 New cotton fabrics are available in our shop! A dark cotton with stitch print, making it look embroidered, and a lovely blue swirl with gold accents. Links to both are in the comments.

19.01.2022 Elastic is in stock! 6mm, 8mm (sold out), 12mm and 20mm white braided elastic is now available on our website. The smaller sizes are great for anyone who is making face masks and dolls clothes. The larger sizes are great for kids clothes and adult clothes.

Being fully online and running from our home studio (with only household members) we are able to keep posting your orders. 16.01.2022 Super excited haven't even unwrapped them yet! Just got a delivery of some Riley Blake fabric, including stretch jerseys, and of course unicorns.

14.01.2022 A quick update with some things we've had to change this week. We're still taking and fulfilling orders from our website. All our orders need to go through the post office now, so we have had to suspend the option for local pick up and home delivery. We hope to revisit this once stage 4 restrictions are lifted

12.01.2022 Decisions, decisions, decisions. Last night we spent some time looking through swatches for our next restock. We think some lovely stretch fabrics will be making an appearance.

10.01.2022 Thursday night we were hit badly with the storm and lost power for 3 days. It was also our busiest weekend in sales so far! Thankfully Mr AltFabrics set up a generator so we could charge phones and check orders coming in and keep up. All orders that came in between Thursday and last night have just been delivered to the post office and your tracking numbers will be emailed shortly :) Thank you everyone for your support!

01.01.2022 Trying to choose my favourite fabric we have available to share is proving more tricky than I thought. This would be in the top 3 as I have a soft spot for soft drapey fabrics, colour, and a bit of animal print.
