Dear valued patients and families, As a community experiencing such an unprecedented event in our lives, we thank you for your acceptance and co-operation with these temporary changes outlined below.... Thank you for your patience when we call you to confirm your appointment and ask you questions about your recent travels and your current health status. If you have recently travelled from overseas, experiencing cold or flu like symptoms including fever, cough, shortness of breath or a sore throat, have been in contact with someone diagnosed with or testing for Covid-19 infection, we appreciate your understanding when your appointment needs to be rescheduled. We thank you for accepting and responding to an email we may send you to complete at home, to avoid the need to handle stationery at our dental practice. We may call you to inform you of the need to remain in your car until we are ready to commence your dental treatment and we thank you for your understanding in waiting outside our clinic with extra family members. We want to limit the amount of people present in our reception area for your safety. We truly appreciate your understanding if your appointment is rescheduled or the time is altered. We know your time is valuable and this is necessary when longer appointments are needed for effective sterilizing between appointments and minimal people contact. We offer you a hand sanitizer to use before and after your dental appointment. We will offer a complimentary disinfectant mouthwash before your treatment. Our reception area will not house magazines, toys and dental products for purchase in order to minimize items handled by multiple people. Kids, we will ensure your name is entered in the Patient of the Month draw and we look forward to receiving your lovely hand written names in the future. Your photos of your beautiful smile at the dentist will be emailed to you for safe keeping. We continuously disinfect doors, reception benches and other commonly touched areas throughout the day. Naturally, our infection control procedures are up to date in the treatment rooms and in the sterilization of dental instruments. We use ultrasonic cleaning pressure and heat sterilization of all non-disposable dental instruments. Thank you for working with us to ensure your safety is a priority.
