21.01.2022 To our Altona community, Please be advised that as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ALSC committee has unanimously decided to suspend patrols, effective immediately. As a club, we understand the importance and value of the service we provide to our community and whilst we haven’t arrived at this decision lightly, we believe that it is in the best interests of the wellbeing of our volunteer patrol members.... As with every off-season, we will take the opportunity to continue our planning for a bigger and better season 2020/21. Thank you to our members for your energy and enthusiasm throughout this season. It still amazes us just how proud and passionate our members are as advocates for the lifesaving movement in whatever capacity they participate. We truly are fortunate. We look forward to seeing our community and memers on the beach once these unusual circumstances begin to settle! Kind Regards, ALSC Committee

17.01.2022 ALSC has some exciting news! We are pleased to announce a plan for a refurbishment of our tower has been included in the Hobsons Bay City Council Budget for 2020/21 We hope the community are staying safe and we look forward to seeing on the beach this summer.

We are excited by the developments and whilst they are currently in drafting stage we encourage everyone to have their say as this is our town. 01.01.2022 We're so excited to announce that our Nippers program will return for the 2020/21 Season! The shortened program will commence on the 31st of January and conclude the 28th of February. We're currently modifying the program to meet DHHS and LSV COVIDSafe Guidelines. Memberships are being processed and further communication will be sent out in the near future. ... Any questions?
