Built in the first half of the 12th century, this place drools history. . Entering such pagodas throughout my journey here, gave me a sense of peace. Passing through one door to another I see, courtyards, hidden gardens, many gallery walls which are evident of the times they were, beautifully sculptured facesto the north, south, east, and west to the uneven staircases leading to nowhere. It was here I received a Sai Sin blessing from a monk as he wrapped the red string bracelet on my wrist. . Siem Reap requires a three-night stay. Allowing photo opportunities at dawn over the Angkor, to exploring the flavorsome night markets including fried chicken, red ant or a tarantula. . A visit to Pub Street (the name says it all) is a must for a 50c chilled beer and get ready to party? The entire street turns into a dance-off! . It is a pretty awesome place from history to modern.
