This is just some of the team that I've had the absolute pleasure to work with. South Adelaide Football Club

18.01.2022 WE NEED TO TALK: We all know how difficult it is to talk to someone about a performance issue, but avoiding it is counter-productive to the success of your business.

15.01.2022 A great afternoon, with great people who were willing and up for re-thinking difficult conversations and how we feel about conflict. AltoPEOPLE and St Andrews Hospital staff making a difference through conversation.

13.01.2022 Seems the nesting boxes maybe just a tad hot for the girls and opted for the trailer. An excellent example of the flexible work arrangements here at AltoPEOPLE headquarters. Goodo, job done - happy hens means free range eggs; the real deal.

13.01.2022 Congratulations Sian Johnson - Senior Ranger. I have had a the pleasure of working with Sian Johnson, a local Vulkathunha-Gammon Ranges, Adnyamathanha woman. Sian courageously blended her traditional values and ways of learning in a corporate context. Most leaders find the softer skills of leadership difficult and Sian willingly surrendered to the AltoPEOPLE program ; she used the ways of her people to guide her in developing a new skill set. Sian has recently secured... a promotion and is working as a Senior Ranger with the Department of Environment Water and Natural Resources. Thank you Sian, what we have learned from you is not taught in text books. https://www.environment.sa.gov.au//senior-ranger-sian-john

12.01.2022 'Busy' is a notion we ought to discourage, rather than elevating it as though it is worthy.

12.01.2022 We sat down with our friend, and Captain of the Adelaide Crows, Taylor Walker ahead of the 2018 AFL season to discuss management, leadership and resilience. Heres what he had to say. https://altopeople.com.au/leadership-taylor-walker/

10.01.2022 There are a couple of spaces left to immerse yourself in the Barossa Wellness New Year Retreat (10-12 Jan). I will be guiding a powerful workshop on lessons learned from 2019 and tips to approach the new year wisely. The new year is the ideal time to step away, take a well deserved break and visualise balance and clarity for the year ahead. The retreat includes yoga, meditation and immersing yourself in a 5 star setting at La Mas in the Barossa Valley. Its a great Xmas idea..., you could surreptitiously send the link to your partner and if that fails, self-gift. There is also a Saturday day pass if you cant make a whole weekend. Check the website for all the details. Take the holiday season to a whole other level - I hope to see you there. https://www.barossawellness.com.au/new-year-retreat

09.01.2022 There are so many analogies between business and sport and I am always struck by the way that sports people are held to accountability in ways we dont see in business. They are hardwired for continuous improvement through feedback and genuine effort, using self-reflection for personal growth. The women I've been working with at Sturt FC are an excellent example of this. Sturt Football Club Inc. - SANFL

03.01.2022 Three cheers for the Class of 2017 graduates from DEWNR's Accelerate L.E.A.D. Program. This 6 month program was designed for those who may be considering a leadership position and to get a sense of what that may mean. The past six months offered blended learning including, an amazing race around Cleland Wildlife Park, a 3 day case study with complex public and private sector issues and taking thought leader concepts back to their own environments. ... Today they showcased their learning to their managers and demonstrated a solid understanding of the human elements of leadership and what this means for them. A big thank you to Madeline Yee, Leanne Hext and the AltoPEOPLE team Debbie Tester, Marlo Grocke and James McClusky Garcia who were an important part of bringing this program to life. A good six months with a memorable finale. Thank you - Class of 2017 I am grateful. K
