18.01.2022 NSW Health is advising of a new public health alert for Sydney Market Flemington. A case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in a person who worked at the market whi...le infectious on Sunday, 9 August. This person is in isolation. Close contacts have been identified and advised to isolate for 14 days, to get tested for COVID-19 and monitor their health. People who were at Sydney Market on Sunday, 9 August from 8am to 4pm are considered casual contacts and advised to monitor for symptoms including runny nose, sore throat, fever, cough, loss of taste or smell, and get tested should even the mildest symptoms develop. The case who was reported positive on Sunday, 16 August and the source of their infection is under investigation. The areas of the market where the case worked have been thoroughly cleaned. There is no ongoing risk to the public. NSW Health has also directed that people who attended the following locations should watch for symptoms and get tested if they appear: - Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday, 11 August and Wednesday, 12 August between 8.30am and 12.30pm - Woolworths Metro North Strathfield on Saturday, 8 August between 12.50pm and 1.15pm - DFO Homebush on Saturday 8 August between 10:45am and 12pm

12.01.2022 Police are appealing for information after two teenagers were threatened with a knife and robbed in The Hills District yesterday. About 6.30pm (Thursday 17 Dec...ember 2020), two boys aged 14 and 15 were sitting at a bus stop near Windsor Road, Rouse Hill, when they were approached by a group of three males. Police have been told the older boy starting walking towards the Metro, when one of the males followed him and threatened him with a knife, before stealing his bag and cap. The younger boy was also threatened, and his mobile phone was stolen. Officers from The Hills Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation. As part of ongoing inquiries, police would like to speak to three males who may be able to assist them. Two of the males are described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged between 13 and 16, of thin build, with brown hair, wearing black shirts. The third male is described as being of African appearance, aged between 13 and 16, of thin build, wearing a red T-shirt and black durag. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Information is treated in strict confidence.
