24.01.2022 After a couple of days of vocal rest (picture me miming my music lessons, what a crack up! ) I’m good to go tonight at the Murchison Tavern. Kicking off around 7/7:30 they have a full dinner menu and cocktail list to boot so prepare yourselves, I’ve got the tunes for that post dinner boogie!

15.01.2022 10 YEARS AGO I was on the home stretch, preparing for my final graduation recital at uni. While I had some amazing experiences at uni and some beautiful mentors, for the most part, the enjoyment in music was taken away by some very small people who managed to squeeze every ounce of enjoyment out of what I was doing. TODAY... I am a music teacher and teach with inspiration from those who taught me well and, in spite of those who lead me to believe that I would amount to nothing. I have always had to work for my success, it hasn’t come easily. In spite of some negative experiences, am proud of how far I have come. This isn’t perfect, but this is me. Playing my first solo flute gig in 10 years. I loved every minute of it. Random music stand camera angle, tired eyes after a big work day and a a big mark on my chin from playing for two hours Everyone has music in their heart and a song to sing. xxx For you dad.

14.01.2022 I have had the opportunity to participate in an original Fringe show this year in Geraldton at Funtavia. A group of us got together and spent time writing and workshopping original songs about 6530 (the postcode). The show was called Songs of 6530 and it was performed on Friday night. We had such a supportive crowd and I feel so lucky to have worked with a group of such beautiful musicians. Here is my offering to the show "Home". Featuring Sarah O'Malley on Back Up, Josh Crothers on Guitar and Nick Duplex on Drums. Thanks to my friend Melanie, for recording it for me!
