24.01.2022 Beautifully slow days post graduation, of drinking endless cups of tea & reading I’m currently reading Growing Up Aboriginal in Australia by Anita Heiss & Skin Care by Caroline Hirons ~ a good one for all you 10-step-skincare lovers. My last read was The Yield by Tara June Winch & I HIGHLY recommend it. (Gpa if you’re reading this I think you’d really like it!) What have you been reading/which podcasts have you been listening to?

23.01.2022 A little snippet of me As I’ll soon be a fully qualified Naturopath (hopefully by October ) I thought it would be nice to introduce myself in more detail. As you may have already noticed, I’m an astrology loving, plant hoarding, beach/outdoors/nature appreciating womxn Naturopathic practice wise, & life wise really; sustainability & ethical living is my number 1 priority. I care for my wellbeing as much as I care for the earths wellbeing. Veganism used to be one... of my big identifiers, however I’ve moved away from that as I don’t want to be a label or represented by a lifestyle choice. In saying that, I am still vegan; I absolutely adore all animals (apart from leeches & creepy crawlies, like, you do you, but not near me plz) & as I said, I want to protect the earth as much as I can, & a vegan lifestyle minimises the destructive impact we as humans have on the planet. Plus, cruelty sucks & I will never support that. I am tea & oat milks BIGGEST fan. Honestly, there is nothing I love more than sitting down on the couch with my friends, tea in hand. Dandy chai is my fave Another passion of mine is fashion, I appreciate vintage clothing & really well made sustainable pieces. My wardrobe is massive & tbh it always will be; I’ve accepted & embraced that I’ve begun sewing a lot more now aswell, so it’s only going to get more excellent. I write a lot of lists. I love new hobbies. Skincare is utterly important, get yourself a good routine. I want everyone to be my best friend . I love hosting dinner soirees, brunches & house-parties (largely due to the fact that I want to dance to my own playlist, bc Kylie Minogue is a queen. PSA: Lana Del Ray is also, forever, a huge vibe ). A future goal of mine is to build a small, sustainable house by the coast & run a successful business/clinic with my sister (watch this space! ). I love love love medicinal herbs & holistic health (hence, naturopathy) & can not wait to practice & be part of people’s health journey, supporting & guiding them. Yay. That’s it for now, thank you for reading See more

10.01.2022 I’m back in clinic over the summer, from 8am-4pm Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday So many opportunities to come in for a visit to get some help, guidance & support for your health. I’m loving being back in the clinic & feeling more confident with every client I see. It honestly brings me so much joy. Direct message me if you would like to book an appointment ~ for summer clinic we are doing a special of 2 consultations for the price of 1! ($20). So, really, you’re making money . #naturopathystudent #melbournenaturopath #holistichealth

09.01.2022 How to support a restful, deep sleep in a completely simplified manner ~ exercise during the day ~ include a source of protein with dinner (tempeh, tofu, beans, whole grains) ~ create a pre-sleep ritual; candle, essential oils, aromatherapy, face massage after skin care, foot bath ~ turn off phone 1 hour prior to bed ... ~ aim to get to bed at the same time each night ~ magnesium support ~ have a herbal cuppa 1 hour before bed; with herbs such as chamomile, passionflower, lavender, valerian { add in some ginger & cinnamon as a digestive carminative which will soothe your belly } ~ deep breathing for 5-10minutes as you hop into bed ~ fresh sheets & a tidy, clutter free sleeping space See more

07.01.2022 Snoozy series part2 I really can’t highlight enough how important it is to prioritise your sleep. If you experience poor sleep or insomnia, seek professional help, as sleep is so incredibly important for your metabolism, healing processes, neuro-support, detoxification & for your overall health. The impacts of little sleep may not affect you now, however it can become a huge concern in the future if left unaddressed. A key element of Naturopathy is prevention of ill-health. Take the beneficial steps now, for your future (& present) health.
