25.01.2022 One of the best things about being a graphic designer is being able to create awesome logos for amazing people! The Accounting Chick now has a fun, trendy logo that advertises the bright and cheerful personality of the owner, while communicating the knowledge and professionalism that you will experience working with The Accounting Chick.

21.01.2022 Instant Colour Press have been exhibiting their new van advertisement decals around the Canberra region. Featuring die-cut vinyl and their signature branding, these decals are hard to miss. As something a little different to my usual element, I had to take into account the different conditions I would be encountering such as curvature of the van, decal placement, durability and line of sight. Ultimately the Decals applied perfectly and made the impact that Instant Colour Press wanted to achieve.

17.01.2022 Canberra Blind Society required their new book designed and typeset in a way that, due to the audience of the book, it was made to be as legible as possible for the visually impaired. The font could be no smaller than 12pt, in a clean minimalist sans serif font, with sufficient leading and kerning. The book was also developed into an audiobook to assist the readers.

14.01.2022 With the end of the financial year getting closer, Annual Reports are just around the corner. A throwback to last year’s Annual Report design for Comcare and Seacare, these two reports were to feature their corporate branding colours in two alternative design options. Both options were utilised as a differentiation between the two different arms within Comcare. Both reports required a modern, clean design featuring navigational side tabs, chapter menus, styled information graphics, a glossary, and a compliance index. The final reports were printed and perfect bound in-house with a satin celloglaze soft cover. The client feedback was that the results were beyond expectations, resulting in a guaranteed contract for next year.

08.01.2022 Exhibition Park has one of the largest arenas and event centres in Australia, it features many conference centres and marquees for all scale of events such as conferences, exhibitions, seminars, tradeshows and more. To keep up with their ever expanding clientele, they decided it was time to revamp their map to a modern and legible format. This includes key symbols for parking, toilets, petrol stations, and the newly installed light rail stop. To highlight the park’s extensive... facilities, a coloured and numbered key was created to differentiate between centres available for hire, gates, equestrian areas and points of interest for the public. To accompany the newly revamped map, a collection of A4 fact sheets for each of the conference centres was created. Each fact sheet includes to-scale plans of each level, room sizes, facilities, emergency exits, retractable partitions and more. The accompanying information includes room capacity, specifications, and photographs, providing clients with all the essential information they need for their event at Exhibition Park.
