23.01.2022 A nice find on a Termite inspection today the first picture is of a Termite mud lead tracking up and around the ant cap which is what it is designed to do the other is a termite mud lead which there is no contact with the timber joist to support it just so amazing what termites can do. #ampestsolutionscentralcoast

21.01.2022 This was a termite nest in a tree which was treated 21 days ago the picture on the right is the nest straight after the treatment the picture on the left is 21 days after the treatment as you can see the white fungal growth which is seen when the colony is no longer active. Termites are a specialised treatment.

21.01.2022 Out and about doing a Termite inspection today and look at what l found termites tracking up a hard wood fence and having a nice feed on it, this was with in 15mtrs of the house lucky they hadn't made there way into the home at the moment. Remember to have your house regularly checked for Termites.

18.01.2022 Just a little bit of information about the German Cockroaches ( blattella germanica). This cockroache is a prolific breeder of all the cockroaches it life cycle from hatching to being able to reproduce is 40 days the egg case usually contains 30-40 eggs and this will happen about 3 to 4 times in a life cycle. This cockroache moults 6-7 times to grow bigger and life span is 4-6 months. It harbourage areas is the kitchen areas and if left untreated will move to other areas of t...he home. The India meal moth is the most common one you may find flying around your pantry or kitchen areas the life cycle is 1-3 months the female India meal moth will lay about 300 eggs. once the eggs hatch the larvae will feed on flour,biscuits seeds and nuts. 05.01.2022 As winter is just around the corner I wanted to share a couple of post about Rats and Mice the first one I will start of on is the Norway rat some people may call this the water rat,sewer rat,brown rat it is the largest rat we see in and around homes around 500g as adult they live for 9 - 12 months and have up to 5-6 litters per year with each litter having 8 to 10 young.They reach a reproductive age at 3-4 months of age they tend to build their nest in wall voids or under structures where they burrow in under them. They will eat any animal foods or human foods once establish in the area they will become the dominant species. The Roof rat is often found in higher places like roof voids,Garage areas the are a great climber which it uses it long tail to get it self around.
