In a contracting economy where hiring becomes scarce, what will the next chapter look like? What sort of opportunities will there be? What do we do with ourselves if we cannot find work?" Having been here before, I share some advice for those who are facing risks to their job security and how pivoting into self-employment may be an attractive opportunity for some.

10.01.2022 We’re clawing our way towards the school holidays this week. It’s all a bit Wild West: we’ve fallen off our horse, both legs injured; we’ve clawed ourselves back on but we’re dying from thirst and we’re only just going to make it to the next town.
