19.01.2022 Let me introduce the Amadeus team to you over the next few days so that you know who we are. This is Anne Milanovic our fearless choir director! Anne is a highly qualified musician whose qualifications include holding a Bachelor of Music with Majors in Choir Conducting and Pipe Organ (2000 Univerity of Arts, Berlin; 2005 College of Church Music, Halle/Saale, Germany) and a Bachelor of Education with Majors in Music and Religious Studies (2010 Martin Luther University, Halle/S...aale, Germany). She migrated to Australia in 2010. In 2013, she was fortunate to be invited to prepare the choir and lead singers for the Families’ Concert of the Australian Festival of Chamber Music for the production of Benjamin Britten’s Noye’s Fludde, and she has led the choir for the Families’ Concert ever since. In 2014, she founded the Amadeus Singers. Anne also teaches piano at Townsville Grammar School, and organizes monthly concerts for the public at St. James’ Anglican Cathedral, Townsville. She has a passion particularly for equipping and sharing musical experiences with the young people of Townsville. Her vision is to see this choir as a big part of Townsvilles arts scene.
