25.01.2022 Well being is one of my themes for this year and this article provides food for thought for those who may struggle with balancing work and its impact on health and other commitments. I have been guilty of linking working long hours with stress, however, as this study demonstrates it could be more to do with the relationship you have with work and level of engagement. The ideas for switching off e.g. reading, socialising, finding a hobby, and creating space between work and h...ome are relatively easy to put in place. The journey home can be a place to start the process, what do you listen to, what thoughts are going through your head, what route do you take? I am fortunate to be able to drive past an estuary and see the different birds, the sun sets, the boats on the water and if I choose, disconnect from the stresses of work. What do you do? Do you consider yourself a workaholic? #wellbeing See more

25.01.2022 One of the projects that SI Bunbury is happy to support.

23.01.2022 So many good ideas and thoughts in this month's calendar. I especially love the thought for 3 July... It opens the mind to thinking about opportunities to learn and grow, if that is what you choose. Those three letters can mean so much...

23.01.2022 Do it December. As we come to the end of a year that has been unprecedented for many of us, we can finish it in a way that showcases our humanity and ability to look beyond ourselves. You never know the impact of your small action.

22.01.2022 No matter what the number on your birth certificate says or your ability, just showing up to parkrun is a start and the benefits are many. Give it a go. I am an infrequent participant however, the friendliness and encouragement of everyone who participates either as walker, runner or volunteer leaves me feeling inspired. www.parkrun.com.au

22.01.2022 I have had reason in recent times to reflect on the ideas in this quote. So often I see websites that look amazing and hear promises of what can be done, yet at the core of it all, it is the actions people take that will be most remembered. The same goes on a personal level, when I commit to something it is only the action that will demonstrate if I have been successful. "What we think,or what we know, or what we believe in, is, in the end of little consequence. The only c...onsequence is what we do." John Ruskin. What action will you take today?

21.01.2022 Lots of discussion and sharing of perspectives with this interesting group of volunteers. Thank you Volunteer South West.

21.01.2022 Thanks to Volunteer South West for offering training to Volunteers. We had a great morning learning about EDISC and how an awareness of the different behavioural styles can assist with conflict resolution.

20.01.2022 Take a moment to think about how you can promote peace in your own environment.

20.01.2022 Mindful March - another great action calendar to provide focus for March.

19.01.2022 Optimistic October. What are you optimistic about this month?

18.01.2022 The power of women working to make a difference at a local and global level.

18.01.2022 Action for Happiness produce some excellent resources including these monthly calendars. The quote this month reminds us to stop procrastinating, don't wait for things to be perfect and just take action. Does that resonate for anyone as much as it does for me?

18.01.2022 Joyful June - I love it! This months calendar from Action for Happiness. What will you find to be joyful about?

17.01.2022 So many times we hold back from choosing experiences because we don't believe we are good enough now or we tell ourselves when this happens then ...

17.01.2022 Many of my clients ask how can they be more effective and achieve more balance in their life. This video outlines how you can start to identify what you can stop doing, start doing and keep doing.

17.01.2022 This is the only fundraiser Soroptimist International Bunbury runs in a year so we would really appreciate your support. If you would like tickets let me know ASAP as they usually go quick! Look forward to seeing you there!

16.01.2022 A great source of information for women making choices about their life within a difficult situation.

16.01.2022 This month's calendar is all about altruism and showing concern or assisting others. Last month I was fortunate to experience many acts of kindness and concern when dealing with a family illness. In August consider some of the activities and how such small actions can make a difference to someone's life.

16.01.2022 As 2020 comes to a close and we look back at all the experiences we have had, I trust you will find some joy and happiness in the celebration of Christmas and its message of hope, family and love. As you look forward to 2021 may that message carry you through whatever the New Year will bring. Thank you to all who have helped make my 2020 an extra special year. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

15.01.2022 If you haven't achieved those New Year goals yet, then you're in luck! you get to start again every day.

13.01.2022 Take some time to reflect on the women who have made a difference in your life and those of others and consider how you can be a role model for other women in an empowering way.

13.01.2022 A bit late posting this calendar, however, all the strategies are useful especially at this time. Stay well and while uncertainty is ever present, look for the opportunities to create your own certainty in your environment and daily practices.

10.01.2022 Lets focus and create a different pandemic.

10.01.2022 Hello 2021! A new day, month and year open to so many possibilities, and a new calendar to get you started. Day 1: Find 3 good things to look forward to this year.... What will you look forward to?

10.01.2022 Many of you will be either back at work or whatever your usual routine is. Some may have set goals and well done for taking the time to reflect and plan, others may find it easier to consider themes for their year and then plan actions around those. Health, well being and adventure are some of the themes I am focussed on this year. Themes help me to make decisions about what I say yes or no to. What themes or goals have you set for yourself this year? Let me know what works for you.

09.01.2022 As leaders in this challenging time you may find yourself focusing on your team or your customers and how to provide certainty to them. Please don't forget to take care of yourself and take time to rejuvenate. Your team will thank you for it as you model the value of self care especially if you and your team are on the frontline as it will enable you and them to keep going. If you are feeling overwhelmed and need a space in which to debrief message me and we can discuss some strategies that can assist.

07.01.2022 Enjoyed the opportunity to chat with Iain Massey from Upland Consulting in the Zoom Room and share a little of what Amalfi Coaching offers.

06.01.2022 Enjoy this calendar from Action For Happiness. Check out their website and use the calendar to set an intention every day. https://www.actionforhappiness.org/

04.01.2022 Today is International Day of Happiness. Amidst the fear and uncertainty, pause, take a deep breath and look for what means happiness for you. It may be external or internal; just take the time.

03.01.2022 Come and join us on 5 August at Mojo's in Bunbury for our Open Night and find out more...

03.01.2022 New ways November! It can be good to shake things up occasionally and try something new. That's what I'm doing at Amalfi Coaching...

02.01.2022 Self Care September. Many people equate self care with selfishness however, if you don't look after yourself first you will not be able to look after anyone else effectively in the long run. I work with many people who give, give and give ,especially carers, and while they do it for reasons of love and commitment they get tired and frustrated. So often they think if I don't do it then who will? My husband, wife, partner, child will have to go into care, or hospital and t...hey see this as a failure yet if they don't choose self care the outcome may well be the same. If you are someone who is a giver and you are getting weary, consider using 2-3 of the strategies this month and observe what a difference it makes. My favourites are; give yourself permission to say no, aim to be good enough not perfect and make time to do something you really enjoy. See more

02.01.2022 Thank you to the team at Volunteer South West for the opportunity to share knowledge and information about boundaries with a great group of people from a variety of organisations.

01.01.2022 I especially enjoy rereading a great book. Most recent one was The Alchemist by Paul Coehlo, something new to learn each time I read it.

01.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who was a part of a fun night.
