15.01.2022 Yesterday we finally got away on our big trip around Australia! After an hour driving we heard of the border restrictions that were changing at midnight last night. So, we put in a hectic day of driving and made it to SA with a few minutes to spare Now we're relaxing for 2 nights, next to the Murray River in Renmark. Not a bad spot!

04.01.2022 These guys made me cry this afternoon. Today I heard that a beautiful friend has gone into palliative care . We also travelled back to Kangaroo Island, where we had been during the devastating bush fires in January. Seeing the wake of the flames was confronting. When I found these 2, as we set up camp, I shed some tears for the sickness and destruction in this broken world, and smiled at the sense of hope these little guys provide, as well as the beauty of God's marvelous c...reation.
