24.01.2022 Hi there folks, so whilst things are definitely a lot quieter here at Highview central, there's still some exciting things going on. I have 2 more harvests of local honey from our Kalorama Bees. Pure, cold pressed honey, made by bees feeding from our local nectar, not sugar syrup (and definitely not watered down like you get in the supermarket.) To assist in this time of isolation, I'm offering free, local, no contact delivery. Prices and sizes are in the comments.... I also have a good supply of winter seasonal remedies, and all your usual supplements that you have been prescribed. If nothing has changed in the last six months, I can renew your herbal script after a quick phone call or message. Alternatively, I can offer a telephone, skype or zoom consultation, for $25, where we can talk about food, remedies, acupressure or stress management or anything else that might help you at this time. Or you might just need someone to debrief with. Regulars may also want to stock up on some of those immune supports such as Vitamin C, Reishi mushroom, Vitamin D, probiotics and our favourite "take this at the first sign of a cold" Chinese herbal remedy. 04.01.2022 We are living in swiftly changing times, and it is with deep regret that I must discontinue all face to face consultations and treatments, for the time being. We are all being asked to act responsibly to minimise the spread of COVID-19 by practicing "social distancing" along with a number of other hygiene measures. Whilst I have always used strict hygienic controls, such as hand washing, cleaning linen and surfaces, and requesting that people with an active respiratory infe...ction do not attend clinic, I'm unable to deliver acupuncture, massage or cranial sacral treatments from 1.5 meters away. I'll continue to offer herbal therapy and other natural remedies by telephone or Zoom, and remedies can either be left at the usual pickup spot outside, or mailed to you. Also, there is a patient ordering system I have, which you can access online, and simply reorder any remedies that you have been prescribed, and they will be mailed directly to you. Let me know if this interests you. There is no obligation and could offer some piece of mind in the event of a total lockdown.
