25.01.2022 Just some of my 2021 brides

25.01.2022 This young babe had a moment and decided to packet colour her hair a little while ago and cut it all off on her own. Little did she realise her gorgeous natural colour would pop through right away. She has the most stunning natural Colour that clients pay for. She then hated it and wanted her natural hair back right away. We stripped it naturally from black and took her back to as close as we could with blonde bits through it. The plan is to go lighter over time but softly a...nd naturally. I Gave her a proper trim and bam she’s back to normal! Such a gorgeous girl I think she’s defiantly learnt her lesson now.

23.01.2022 Thank you to all my clients for understanding and being so amazing with my slow movements the last two weeks. I appreciate everyone of you for being so amazing even though I’m in so much pain you all have been so incredibly patient while I work away and I’m sorry if any of you feel bad seeing me in so much pain, just know I won’t ever put my baby’s life or my well being in danger and have and will continue to evaluate on a daily basis. 22.01.2022 That’s a wrap for 2020 I just wanted to say wow what a year! A pregnancy, a total world pandemic and lockdown of which I worked through, cancelled weddings, postponed weddings, then booked again, then cancelled again, a broken tailbone, chronic sciatic nerve, many hospital visits and a baby!!! ... This year has thrown us all some massive curve balls. But each and everyone on of you still supported me and came to see me each and every week. I worked incredibly hard this year at times I shouldn’t have but I just couldn’t let you all down. You all stood right by me at my absolute lowest and you all let me take my time hobbling around the studio. I can’t thank you all enough. My little family have been my biggest rocks and helped me to do your hair every single appt. they kept the house going and looked after a new born while I worked! They are the best ever!! It’s time I now have my maternity leave as I only had a week before and week after navy and now have two weeks off before I’m straight back into it again on the 4th January for 2021 call me crazy I know. So I wish you all a safe and merry Christmas please wash your hands and stay smart and keep this little state safe! Love to you all from my beautiful supportive family to you and yours!

22.01.2022 Yesterday’s make over.... I would say more of a soften up and fixing... This beautiful lady went to a reputable hobart salon paid over $300 for the cut and colour in the first photos I don’t mind doing a fix up but it’s happening more and more. We are trying to get to a softer colour all over with some soft lighter bits so when this gorgeous lady’s hair grows she won’t notice her regrowth as much. Such beautiful hair to work on and I absolutely love the result

21.01.2022 I have been a little quiet on here as I’m fast reaching my due date and working along side with chronic sciatic nerve pain and a broken tail bone... but here are some colours I have done recently

20.01.2022 What a day! Had a blast doing all these ladies hair today.

19.01.2022 Wow what a job... my lovely client has been having some fun during covid and had some bright pink and then went bright red... after a while she wanted to go a little more natural... I took her from picture one bright red... to naturally stripping it with zero damage. Which left us with very noticeable bands from colour work. The middle section was by far the most stubborn... we had some green, purple and bright pink and slightly damaged ends.... 4 hours later and she’s closer to natural then she has been in years! Big job but so worth it

19.01.2022 Remember Prue?? She wanted to get rid of her pink? Well Prue is getting married next week and unfortunately I’ll be too pregnant to do her hair. But I still had the pleasure to colour it 2 times before her big day. She came with pink dry damaged hair and trusted my process to get her looking gorgeous and blonde for her big day!! I’m so happy that we could achieve this in 2 sessions

17.01.2022 I met this amazing woman today... we connected on a different level.. I love one on one time with my clients.. love to hear their story’s and wow this woman is amazing!!! Today was the first time I coloured her hair.. her blonde wasn’t too bad to start with just a heavy regrowth and patchy bits through the back... we introduced a root colour to help soften the blow of her regrowth and cleaned out her ends and trimmed it all up ! Love how beautiful and bouncy it looks!!

16.01.2022 I’m back!!! Well the truth is I have been back for 4 weeks... (2weeks post baby) call me crazy I’ll take it lol but I love what I do... Well here’s just some of the beautiful hair I have been creating...

16.01.2022 It’s been a big week here yet again! But I need to share this amazing mumma of 4!! She’s cut her hair off to donate to an amazing company called real fringe headbands. ... Real Fringe Hair Bands was founded by Nicole DeMatos who has been an oncology nurse since 2000. She has supported countless patients through their treatments and witnessed their personal struggles with the side effects of these life-saving treatments. From here, the idea for Real Fringe Hair Bands and Confident Locks was born. They were created with the hopes of empowering anyone who has lowered self-confidence and self-esteem as a result of hair loss. We want to help patients discover a renewed sense of self-worth and normalcy. There’s not much we can do to reduce the physical challenges alopecia and cancer sufferers have to endure, so it is our hope through Real Fringe, we can make a real impact on the lives of these patients. How amazing is this!!!

15.01.2022 My Books are closed for night appointments for 2020 After a busy day yesterday I am now booked for nights from today till January 5th I only have 3-4 day appointments left for the rest of the year and I’m so sorry I won’t be working extra hours this year.

14.01.2022 Yesterday I had the pleasure of being involved with the worlds greatest shave and shaving this BRAVE and incredible girls hair off! Isn’t she amazing. I was so nervous for her but so excited and proud all in one. She didn’t even flinch or cry ( I had to hold back tears). She will be donating her hair too!!! ... How flipping beautiful does she look with her new hair! He eyes are stunning and it’s suits her so much! Claudia I think you are absolutely AMAZING and hope that more young girls look up to young woman like you!!!

13.01.2022 Bumps and hair!! So nice seeing this inspirational woman who I have known for so many years and now we are on our last pregnancy’s and they are by far the hardest for us both. I absolutely loved being able to make her feel more beautiful than she already is. Baby Sullivan 36 weeks and 60th percentile ... Baby smith almost 31 weeks and 75th percentile We have been through so much in all the years we have known each other and me doing her beautiful hair and for her wedding.. we have had marriage, divorce marriage again babies and I couldn’t be prouder of this lady and how she Carry’s her self she’s an absolute legend and I’m so lucky to have made her feel more beautiful today ready for her baby girl.

06.01.2022 My amazingly talented friend has had all her years of hard work taken away from her and had her business page hacked with no access and no help from Facebook for nearly 6 weeks. Please like her page and share far and wide... she has so many brides and clients booked in who I am sure have no clue what’s been happening... She’a still here but has to start fresh..... 05.01.2022 Massive Thursday last week!! This beautiful lady is getting married in September and is thinking pink might be a bit bright.... so we have two colours before her big day. This was the first.... I used a natural stripper on her hair as it was/is pretty damaged from so much colour on those mids and ends... then I did a full head of foils only taking the colour through some ends.... i then toned with a beautiful sandy blonde custom colour made by me. Lots of tender love and care went into this colour work. Styling I literally only used cureplex number 4 and coconut oil ( my all time favourite) you don’t need to put loads of product into your hair you just need the right ones to bring it back to life!!!

05.01.2022 Bump update Hello to all my beautiful followers and my most loyal amazing clients As most of you already know I have been cutting back work under doctors orders ( they want me to stop completely). Unfortunately being a sole trader it’s not that easy ... I love you all too much and can’t let go just yet.... ... I feel it’s time to let you all know what’s been going on.... 10 years ago when I was pregnant with my son I broke my tail bone and was told if I had anymore children I would be in a world of pain. Well they were not wrong. I assumed it would hurt but this time it hurts more than I can explain as I’m working more this time round and on my feet more. Around 5 months my tailbone started to re break with our growing baby ouch . It pinches on a nerve and shoots down my legs and up my back. Some days my legs go tingly and numb and I can’t feel them and some days I’m in pain but can cope. Then due to the immense pain of my tail bone I get headaches and sometimes to the point I feel sick. I also have gone back to rock bottom low iron and constantly tired and worn out yet keep pushing. So with all of that said I’m still here pushing along day by day. Some days are worse than others, some days I wake up and can’t do much all day and others I’m ok till lunch time. Walking hurts, standing hurts, sitting for to long hurts it’s all a bit much most days. But no matter what I always put on a brave face for you... At this stage I’m still working I have limited my hours and may need to drop them more in September but I can only go week by week at this point. I will always be upfront and honest and keep you all updated with how I am and if I need to cancel or rebook you. When little miss is here I will only be taking 3 weeks off. No judgment please. I work from home and have the unique ability to choose my hours. So with that said I may need to move your times to earlier or later in the day but we won’t know till bub is here. Chris will be home for three months leave so this allows me to get through the start of wedding season and Christmas rush and have bub well looked after. ( you may even get new born cuddles ). Unfortunately l won’t be adding any extra nights or hours this year like I normally do. So I suggest booking in now as I have only 5 evening appointments left for December before I have two weeks off for Christmas and New Years. There is only so much I can do. January will be very different I will have to space out my appointments already booked during the day to ensure I’m there for all three children as well as working in between. It’s not going to be easy on my end but with your patience and love and support that your already showing me I know I can do this. Thank you to all of my loving and understanding clients you are all amazing and I’m so lucky to have so many amazing people who choose to come and see me! Much love to you all xx
