14.01.2022 Here's to you! Thanks so much to all of the couples who have welcomed me into their lives and special moments in 2020. We've been so fortunate that many plans could go ahead and it's been super lovely to celebrate love with you all this year. Thanks to those couples who have invited me to be a part of their planning and are getting married next year, or even the year after that. 2021 is shaping up to be AMAZING! Thank you also to those couples whose plans changed ...along the way, who needed to postpone - or maybe are still postponed. I see you. That shit was, and is, hard. Thank you for working with me, for keeping me in the loop, and for being absolute champions as we watched to see how things rolled out. I feel incredibly grateful to work with amazing couples and to work alongside many beautiful people in the wedding industry - other vendors and suppliers and networks of celebrants - who keep me inspired. Thanks also to those family and friends and peeps who aren't getting hitched anytime soon but continue to support and like and share. Much appreciated! I'll be keeping fairly quiet for the end of this year and the start of the next, making some Christmas magic as we prep for Santa and reindeer arrivals. 04.01.2022 On a day not so long ago, Kristen discovered a trail of candles through her house. Allowing the flickering lights to guide her, she discovered her love - Matt. As she approached, he took her hand gently in his, leaned in close, and whispered, Will you wash up tonight?... Another time, up high on a beautiful lookout, taking in the sights spread out beneath them, he snuck up behind her, giving her a warm cuddle and said I’ve got something important to as...k you Spinning around, already giddy with possibilities, Matt gazed into her eyes and asked - Will you drive home?... So when Kristen got home one day, after what had been a fairly terrible day, to discover a large pink bow on the door, she didn't jump to any conclusions. In fact, she wasn't really in the mood for shenanigans at all. Arriving back from shopping, dragging in a big bag of dog food for their beloved fur babies - Bundy and Max, Kristen heard their song playing. Then she entered their lounge room to see Matt down on one knee. The dogs were in position and playing their role: Bundy had a beautiful sign around her neck that read "Marry Daddy?" and there was a ring box around Max's neck! Kristen was starting to come around... Could it be?!? But as Matt went to get the ring from the box around Max's neck, they both realised it was empty. Kristen immediately thought she'd been tricked again! In the excitement of setting up, Max had shaken the ring off his collar! Quick to reassure her that this time was - in fact - a real proposal - Matt and Kristen hunted for the ring, locating it under the couch, and Matt asked THE question. So it seemed that it was actually quite a good day after all. A very, very good day indeed. This time, he was proposing. This time they were going to become husband and wife.
