21.01.2022 This time of year alone can induce some crazy overwhelm and stress! I know cos today I’ve felt it. . The impeding end of year. The birthdays, the wedding anniversary, the Xmas celebrations, the new year, the project launches, the clients, the time to relax, the #mumlife. . It can feel overwhelming ....... if we let it.... . This is my process for overcoming overwhelm. I did this this morning after a little cry feeling like shit was getting to much and there was SO much to do in such little time. . Note to self: that’s BS and I simply stressed myself out by thinking 10,000 steps ahead and not being in the present. What do I need to do today, right now.. not next week or next month. . 20.01.2022 A love note. If you are being sucked into the wo me mentality and can’t seem to shake it.... 1) Own it! Take responsibility of where you Are at and how you got there. There is no good in placing blame or making excuses.... that just makes you feel worse... 2) Accept that this is your reality for right now. It’s not forever. It can be changed. Without acceptance and seeing the beauty in what you are experiencing that you can be grateful for ... we just stay stuck 3) Get rid of your ego and allow yourself to be held and supported. Ask for help, admit that maybe you need it. Imagine how amazing you will feel once fully supported?! The end. Love you xxx

Do it.... . Want to launch that business? Do it. . Want to make friends with someone new? Do it. . Want to change your eating habits? Start nurturing yourself? Do it. . Worried about how people will feel? What they will think? What they will say? . Ask yourself why? Why doesn’t it matter? . Your fears, doubts, -ve inner dialogue and unhelpful ideas seem to show up loud and clear? Sometimes they even STOP you in your tracks and help you BAIL on your dreams. .... Hands up who has stayed in a job or a relationship that felt shitty for WAY too long because of this inner critic? . It shows up in so many ways, when you are about to: Step on stage for the first time to speak or perform in front of people. Take the leap and quit your job. I challenge you to coach yourself here or as I like to teach... self parent. . You say I don’t have time to move my body ...... So ask yourself.... how can I use my time better so that I CAN move my body? . All of a sudden the 1hr of Netflix or 2hrs scrolling your phone looks like a walk or a yoga session. . All of a sudden going to sleep at midnight and dragging your ass out of bed in the morning in a rush looks like getting to bed early and waking up feeling fly, calm with plenty of time to not only move but also eat breakfast. . I’ve been there! . When I was sick starving myself, over exercising And being forever emotional and self conscious about my body... I did the work. . When I was sick of putting up with a relationship I was too scared to leave... I did the work. . When I was sick of letting my fear and self doubt stop me from doing and achieving the things I wanted in life (run my own biz, run events, create an online program, run retreats, buy a house) .... I did the work. . When I was sick of feeling guilty and like I was failing at motherhood, every day filled with anxiety, fear and shame... I did the work. . 11.01.2022 To integrate change in your life.... no matter what it is... it requires a period of purging the old. The heavy held emotions like fear, doubt, sadness, anger. . In my past, before I knew what I do now, I didn’t know this had to happen at some point and the heavy emotions, the fear etc built up every time I stepped into change, challenged myself or made a big decision and so every time change would come around again.... boy it was harder and harder to flow with it. . Now I su...pport myself through each stage of growth, change and inner work. But you know what .... (please comment if you are with me here) 2020 got me good. . I’ve been go go go since shit went down earlier this year. Pivoting business, creating, offering.... throwing myself into the changes I dreamt of making in my business and my family life over a period of 2 years (not 6months!) it’s been the BEST.. but shiiiit. . And yep... you guessed it my inner nurturing habits were hanging by a thread. I was just trying to emotionally show up, carry on. Keep it together. Survive. Continue to be of service and keep my self intact within myself, as a wife and a mumma. . I’m driving out of the city on my way down south and as we left the city, I literally had an emotional purge, the tears came out of nowhere. I’m catching up. . It’s been fucking full on and I’ve realised I haven’t allowed myself to purge the old through the enormity of the growth that this year has birthed for me and for this planet. . So here it is. A lesson that no matter your growth, change or decision, whether it’s to look after your health, leave your job, start your side hustle or end a relationship there needs to be space for you to empty, purge, let go of and release old ways of thinking, ideas, fears, feelings and judgement. . Just like changing your lifestyle to prioritize hour health... there is a period of time that you need to let go of the old you. Your old habits, old patterns, thinking and judgements. . 10.01.2022 PSA on Fear! You can allow fear of the unknown, fear of the future block you from having, doing and being who and what you want.... Nice story...... OR You can allow that little niggle of fear to excite you! Why? Because fear will always be present when you are about to level up. When you know what could happen next could change the trajectory of your life and how you feel. We have just been taught to run from fear. To allow it to consume us in a way that keeps us small (in our heads... safe) Fear needs to be looked in the eyes. Needs to be understood, not exaggerated, not suppressed or ignored. Do you ask yourself what am I truly afraid of? Or do you let it run wild and tell you all kinds of crazy stories? Every time I have really dug deep to the root of my fears... it’s the fear of actually having what I want. Being seen, being held. Being understood. Fear is a great tool for inner awareness. Allow it to support you rather than withhold things from you. It’s your choice! Who here has let fear stop them from doing, having or saying what they want?!
10.01.2022 As much as we say it is.... It’s not ALL about getting into a bikini or shredding for summer. It's not about counting calories or being on a diet. these things mean SHIT if we are not healthy physically, mentally and emotionally. It is all about putting yourself first! Your health is actually THE only thing that is 1) Keeping you alive right now and 2) Will determine how long you get to enjoy this beautiful life and beautiful body... We seem to miss this when connecting to why we choose to jump into the next body shredding program or diet fad. You learn the science and in depth, why these sales-y tactics get you every time but seem to fail on longevity of results in the Amanda Kate Membership. When we choose to improve the way we eat or decide to strengthen and move our bodies or decide to connect within on a deeper level we are elevating WHO we are not WHAT we are. 08.01.2022 NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS A heads up as we near the beginning of a new year.... let’s NOT start setting ourselves the same old shitty resolutions we do every year! Why? You ask.... ... Well..... How often do you follow through and accomplish these resolutions? How many times have you achieved the goals you set out to achieve for the year? How many goals have you actually totally forgotten about by the time you get to March? Now don’t get me wrong... there will be many of you that DO and have achieved their New Years goals. This post is for those who have great intentions but seem to cycle around the same goals each and every year. - I’m going to be the fittest I’ve ever been - I’m going to lose weight - I’m going to save x amount of money - I’m going to leave my partner - I’m going to travel - I’m going to start that business Etc etc How about we do this instead? Commit to BEING the person that achieves those goals! Who do you need to BE in 2021? If we focus solely on the DOING but we are not BEING someone who does the things required to get what they want..... We don’t accomplish anything. We give up. We tell ourselves It’s too hard. It’s not for us. We make the same excuses we always do. We behave the way we always have. We self sabotage. Our unconscious way of being keep us from the doing. Instead.... BE the person who: Believes they can! No matter what Is CERTAIN that they will achieve and experience all they want Who allows challenges and set backs to assist in their growth rather than pull them down VALUES and RESPECTS themselves enough to prioritize what makes THEM happy ... You see where I am going with this. So.... let’s declare here ladies! No more to do lists and wish lists.... we want to manifest what we want by being the kind of person that experiences what we want to experience. Who do you want to BE in 2021? Someone who lets go of the past to embrace the future? Someone who is fearless and proud? Someone who is committed? 07.01.2022 Don’t scrap away the joy, food freedom and well earnt relaxation over Christmas by falling for the new year new me diet trend that tends to show up in your news feed from around about.... now! . This used to be me.... - spent the lead up to Xmas shredding as they say. Limiting my food, over exercising... trying to get prepared for the inevitable over indulgence - Workout on Xmas morning and Boxing Day but not from a place of this feels good .... solely from a place of....... I got to burn that shit off - would judge and berate myself for eating naughty foods or too many calories. - be extra critical and self conscious of my body . This was NOT a fun way to experience Xmas or the holiday period. . Our worth is not hidden within the amount of body fat we have or weight we are on the scale. . Our worth is not dictated by weather or not we gained/lost or maintained during the Xmas. . You are NOT a failure if you gained weight over Christmas, or at any other time of the year. . You are more than your body. . Starting a new diet is NOT starting 2021 the right way. . Working to trust your body, listening to your needs, following your heart and where your energy wants to go.... having complete certainty in yourself and your worth. Loving yourself sick, loving and nourishing your body and honoring your beauty.... this is pretty awesome way to start your day, week, month, year. . You are enough. . 07.01.2022 I am a mum. . I am also... . Me.... . As soon as you become a mumma your focus shifts... of course... to nurturing and caring for your little miracle in the best way you can but along the ride we question and doubt ourselves. We beat ourselves up, we neglect ourselves and feel guilty for the choices we make. Why? . What I know to be true from my own experience and from the work I do with fellow mums, is that our fears, our self doubts, our body hang ups, our ideas, beliefs and limiting emotions for example guilt that show up postpartum.... these were all present well before we became a mum. . It’s our transition into a whole new version of us that brings out all our skeletons and pulls out the rug from under our feet and reveals our dusty suppressed pain points. . Trouble is... if we have used suppression as a way to protect ourselves up until now... we are most likely right now, going to ignore the skeletons and dust away the pain under the couch and carry on because as mums that’s what we do . Ignoring what needs to be revealed and healed within us, pulls us further away from ourselves and even Further away from our bodies. . I believe this is how we start feeling further disconnected from Who we are, our bodies, our happiness and our needs. It is not created when we become a parent, it’s simply amplified. . Let’s face it... before you had kids... were you super happy, connected and in love with your body? Were you achieving and doing all the things you wanted or did your self doubt and lack of confidence hold you back? Were you truly looking after yourself and your happiness or where you overworking, stressed out and feeling unsatisfied? . Becoming a parent is a Devine calling to truly heal what has been ignored. . I have seen more inner work and growth since becoming a mum, than EVER! . This is a permission slip... You are allowed to clean out your skeletons! You are allowed to fall apart and be put back together you are not broken. You simply need re-wiring. You have permission to heal from your past, because no longer should it impact the now! . 06.01.2022 SOUND ON We are the only ones in our way! With the stories we tell ourselves as to why we can’t. If you want something.... do what ever it takes to get it.... Creating the Amanda Kate Online Hub took hrs and hrs of work.... which as a fulltime mumma and full time biz owner.... you need to pull time of your arse almost. I could have said, it’s too hard, I don’t have time. But it was a vision I have had for so long and I had everything I needed to make it happen. So I stayed up late hrs, I got up earlier, I stopped watching TV, i asked for help! I knew that the process of getting there was not going to be forever but it needed me to continue to show up every single day! I mean if I stopped prioritizing it... it wouldn’t be here now! Same goes for your health, for your mental and emotional well being, your fitness, your relationships, your body image. YOU have to choose to make it work and show up in ways you haven’t yet. Only you can say it’s too hard or that you can’t. We seem to find it easy to place our own limitations on ourselves when it comes to getting what we really want. You are worth it you know that right?
