21.01.2022 Here is what I am thinking for our old ‘toy room’. Originally it was a double garage that was later bricked in to extend house so there is plenty of space in there. Over the years it has been used as a space for all the kids toys/playstation etc, as well as dumping ground for anything we would ‘take care of later’. 5 bags of hand me down clothes? Put them in the toy room. End of year school books and artwork? Toyroom thanks. Over the holidays the kids have been going through ...all their things and either throwing it out or donating it. The end is near! Now they are getting older and they have less stuff, we are wanting to turn the space into a sleepover/guest/hangout/bar area. The great thing is I won’t be needing any structural work done, so @josephrileybuilder is off the hook with this one and I received a text from Dad saying to let him know when I want to start painting. What a legend!! I’m excited to make a start in the next few weeks. 20.01.2022 When I received this order last week, it came with the comment ‘I’d rather go through a small business just as I like to support small business where I can’ and this really made my day! It is hard competing with larger businesses that have a bigger buying power but 9 times out of 10 us small businesses can meet the larger corporations prices it doesn’t hurt to ask and see what can be done! If it is that tiny bit more expensive, at least you know you are buying from a small ...business (that is most likely doing it tough at the moment) and in return will receive personalised service and communication you are not just another order, you are keeping a small business afloat and that is priceless. 19.01.2022 Little bit of an update on ARC - instead of returning at the beginning of October it will now be the end of October - mid November. An appointment in Sydney on Wednesday turned into surgery on Thursday and hopefully home tomorrow. Feeling lucky and looking forward to feeling alive again! 10.01.2022 School is back! Hope it went smoothly for you. I have 2 back today and 1 on Monday. Following my surgery in September I haven't been overly great, hence why I didn't go nuts with Christmas items or hold my annual Wedding Stationery Comp. I am back in Sydney next week to see my surgeon followed by possible surgery the next day. 26 years of #endometriosis has weakened my immune system and I'm not cleaning out the bacteria and fungi in the air we all breathe in resulting in 2 ...persistant bacterial strains and 1 fungal strain taking up residence in all my sinus cavities and making me pretty sick. Literally nothing is killing them. So fingers crossed next week will be the last of it and after recovering I can commit myself to working again with no health interruptions and start 2021 all over again!
