25.01.2022 Finished! "Sacred Land" This painting is about the land in Australia. The white lines represent the border lines between the different tribes. The circles are meeting places where families come together for special ceremonies.
23.01.2022 My reconciliation painting - "Coming Together" at the Robe Kindy and some beautiful paintings the children did. (One being my daughter)
23.01.2022 This is a story about my Dad and Aunty. The top left corner shows my father and his family playing happily. The symbols represent happiness, friendship and togetherness (family). The two men with hats on symbolise police/government looking for the lighter children to take them from their family. My father ran up to the sand dunes to hide so he wasn't taken. ... Two ladies kneeling down are begging for them not to take their babies away! But they did! They travelled past the water (rivers) to the city where they were made to live a different lifestyle and were taken to new "homes". "They Took Them Away" For my Dad, my idol and a very strong man - Peter Clarke

04.01.2022 What does everyone think about this one? The top blue layer represents the water and the land it is on. (Robe and Kingston SE Boandik and Meintangk) The Second Layer represents the top of South Australia. The drier land in South Australia. ... The third layer represents the orange sunsets we get in Robe. Circles in the sky represent the stars coming out. Sun is on its way down ready for the new day. Last layer (Green) represents the green grass. Alive and thriving. New plants blooming.
