22.01.2022 Hello to all my happily obsessed collectors out there! I am just checking in today to apologise for the inactivity as far as posts are concerned for the past few months. I have not lost interest in my new page, but unfortunately, my darling Dad became very ill, and passed away 9 weeks ago. This, coming as it does after other losses in the family in recent times, has rather taken the wind out of my sails. However, it is still very much my intention to offer a great many dive...rse items for sale as soon as I can manage. Also, the showroom I am building at my home in Long Gully, Bendigo, should be completed in the next few weeks. This will allow people to call in by appointment, or on sale days, to view hundreds of goodies at any given time. I look forward to reconnecting with everyone soon, as it is always so enjoyable buying and selling, don't you think? Here is the new "Amanda's OBSESSIONS" showroom, at its current stage of construction. The interior is being lined as I write this today. We opened the doors to my little shop in the front room of our lovely 1880’s house in Newstead, Central Victoria on 1st April, 1994. I had no idea the extraordinary and eventful path it would lead me down for the next quarter of a century. It has grown and moved, expanded and downsized several times over the years, depending upon family needs and health constraints, but I have always loved it. Many inter...esting people and good friends have been met along the way, and I have learned a great deal. The business has not had a public face for a few years, but there is a new plan afoot!
