20.01.2022 END OF YEAR FUNDING FOR WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AVAILABLE Residual funding is available to support the development of female leaders across Australia’s health sector. The initiative is providing women with grants of between $1,000 and $5,000 to enable participation in one of three programs that cover such things as elements of a successful team, communication, presence and influence, driving performance, problem solving and decision making, and progressing diversity a...nd inclusion. The scholarship funding is provided with the specific intent of providing powerful and effective development opportunities for health sector women but has to be allocated by the end of 2020. 20.01.2022 After almost across the board improvements, Canterbury Hospital jumped from an overall C in 2019 to a B in the 2020 Hospital Health Check.



20.01.2022 Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick improved from an overall C in 2019 to an overall B in the 2020 Hospital Health Check. It was driven by an improvement in Morale & Culture, which saw a jump from a B to an A in that category.

08.01.2022 John Hunter Hospital improved from Cs to Bs in the latest Hospital Health Check in three categories (overtime and rostering, education and training, and morale and culture) but, unfortunately, it was not quite enough to raise its overall grade.

07.01.2022 Campbelltown Hospital improved in four of the five categories measured in the 2020 Hospital Health Check compared to its 2019 results. It might even have improved from an overall C to a B if not for a significant dip in access to leave.
