AMAQ is saddened to announce the passing of our member Phillip Desbled on the 30th of May 2020 at the age of 84..Phillip left behind his loving wife Linda (Michael's Fauvette sister)..We will always cherish the beautiful memories of Phillip at our gatherings. AMAQ wishes our love and sympathy for Linda .Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that the group is their for your support.Hope to see you back amongst your friends at our next gathering .With great Love and Remembrance. 21.01.2022 COVID-19 update for Gold Coast From 8am tomorrow, restrictions on gatherings and aged care will extend to the Gold Coast, after two Pimpama residents test...ed positive to COVID-19. Gatherings in people’s homes and outdoors are limited to 10 people for residents in Gold Coast, Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan City, Scenic Rim, Somerset, Lockyer Valley, Moreton Bay, and Redlands council areas. Everywhere else, gatherings in people’s homes and outdoors are limited to 30 people. Visits to aged care and disability accommodation services are limited on the Gold Coast and in Greater Brisbane, Ipswich and surrounds. Venues and events that follow COVID Safe Industry Plans can continue operating, including cafés, restaurants, clubs, pubs, weddings and funerals. Please stay safe: Wash hands often and thoroughly Maintain social distancing Cover coughs or sneezes Stay at home if unwell Get tested if you're showing any signs of COVID-19.
