We previously stated that we wanted to start giving back after everyones continued support to keep us going in this economic climate and will continue to do so when we are able. Our first donation to the Illawarra Homeless Hub had many suggestions for who we should support next, and as such we went through that list to decide who we could give our support to next. Last week, we decided that this would be our local Vinnies Food ...Van going down to Albion Park. As such, the team packed off some Thai goodies sprinkled with love lAmarin and hope everyone who who needed it got a nice home-style cooked meal for the night Well continue supporting our local charities and organisations moving forward so heres us signing off until next time! 17.01.2022 Hello everyone ! Just an update post on our trading moving forward. The NSW government is allowing up to 10 people to dine in as of tomorrow (15/5) for restaurants and bars. Although we think this is great step for our economy, we as a team have discussed and are not yet comfortable with allowing in-house service to commence for the moment. We would like to see the situation moving forward within the next week or so and assess the best way to keep not only our supporters saf...e but us and our staff safe as well while adapting accordingly. But dont fret as we will continue to be open for takeaways and deliveries as per our current trading hours (on our fb banner) for your weekly Thai fix! Were sorry for the inconvenience and we hope to welcome you into our doors soon!

17.01.2022 Hello everyone! The COVID-19 situation and effects are creeping down to us in the Gong and around Warrawong. Its definitely not contained just up in Sydney anymore (although we did get the craze almost immediately ). As such we just wanted to give you an update on what we are doing to here at our little shop. Although we dont have the word yet in NSW if restaurants are required to shut, we want to be proactive and have started implementing a strict new seating polic...y at the shop to try and keep customers around 1.5m away from each. Unfortunately, as such, the seating capacity will decrease during this time. In addition, we are increasing the amount of times we are wiping down and spray cleaning around the shop to reduce the risk of infection. Naturally, this is using the hospitality/industrial grade disinfectant/sanitiser weve always used and mix into our spray bottles. Our hygiene standards, with our dinnerware will, of course, also undergo increased treatment through an increased soaking time in disinfectant after each wash, before a final rinse. For those who still want to support us and want to minimise their social contact, our delivery and takeaway options are still available and can be ordered right here on facebook or through the website; https://www.amarinthaiwarrawong.com.au/menu This is definitely a tough time for small businesses like us, so weve started reaching out to other local businesses to see what we can do to combine our services to get through this current situation. 08.01.2022 Hello Everyone! We previously mentioned that we wanted to give back to the community with all the support weve seen for us especially during the last two weekends. Were happy to announce the first thing were doing to pay it forward is to donate some of our food to Wollongong Homeless Hub who we found out about their work from an announcement a week or two ago from the local Illawarra Menus page (Thanks Toria from there for letting us know about the work theyre doing - you...re definitely the catalyst for the love and community spirit were seeing!). It may not be not be much but heres our little bit to help the local community and especially for people who are less well off than we are. Moving forward wed like to keep giving back to the Illawarra community whenever we can and are looking at what other actions we can take to give back during these trying times. As always we thank everyone for your continued support and encouragement as wish you a lovely weekend

We really thank you for your patience and understanding of our current shortcomings and, despite that, your continued support; its definitely been tumultuous for our business since the whackiness started and we havent seen patronage at the level we saw last night since pre-social isolation day...s. As such we just want to convey our gratitude and appreciation once again. In exciting news - in our last post we told you that we wanted to work with other local businesses to help each other through these trying times. Were proud to announce we are working with The Booch Bar and our local cheesemaker Tyromancy Cheese for two new special dishes available from tomorrow!... 1. Reaper Rolls (3pc per Serve)* - Fresh spring rolls featuring the reapers kiss vegan cheese, and served with sweet chilli sauce. The combination is creamy, crunchy with a hit of spice! (Vegan Friendly) 2. Boochy Banana Pudding* - We know that we probably need some sweet in our life at the moment so weve now paired our famous home made banana pudding with pineapple coconut kombucha gelato . Just to bring a little tropics in times of confinement (Vegan Friendly) *Note that these two special dishes will be in limited quantities until we can adjust for demand within the next week or so! If youre excited for these dishes leave us a like or comment so we can get prepared! Deliveries: Now available for lunch and dinner! For lunch deliveries please ring the shop while we work with our website partner to update it to allow lunch deliveries as well as the current dinner deliveries. No contact deliveries available where we leave it in front of your door step with a call/sms. Our delivery range has now increased for suburbs around 5km from the shop - if you fall just out or unsure if we service your area, give us a quick ring, were sure we should be able to get some goodies to you! In addition from tomorrow, no delivery fees will be charged from us through a direct order ($30 min, phone calls, and our own website, once it gets updated). Minimal contact pickup is available through our window or we can run the order to the curb side as a sort of "drive-thru" if you ring us Lastly we know this is a trying time for a lot of people but please remember to stay home if you can/if you have symptoms to lessen our health systems burden and also to look after your mental health.
