24.01.2022 The Big Blue Marquee will be making its final appearance at the Hall (ACT) market on Sunday 1st September 2019 in our usual spot.

19.01.2022 Rain done, with this wind the sheep will dry out tomorrow and shearing will go ahead on Friday as planned. Fingers crossed!!!

17.01.2022 The Big Blue Marquee will return to our usual spot at the Hall (ACT) market on Sunday 2nd June 2019.

15.01.2022 The Big Blue Marquee will be in the usual place at the Hall (ACT) market tomorrow Sunday 4th August.

14.01.2022 Almost time for Amaroo Coloured Wool to return to the market scene. This year we will be at Hall (ACT) from Sunday 7th April to the September market, we will also be at the Queanbeyan "Christmas in July" market and the Murrumbateman Field Days in October. We will not be attending any other market this year due to circumstances beyond our control.

12.01.2022 Shearing done. Now to sort fleeces for next season. Fleeces are available by appointment. Some beautiful colours with good length about the 21 micron range. "The shearing it is over and the drenching it is done, And too the back lining and vaccs of course, what fun. It brings us once again to that cheerful time of year... Know as the silly season, but never bend an ear. From our little crew to one and all, we would like to say anew. Have a bloody bottler Christmas, and a great New Year too." See more

12.01.2022 Weather permitting, the Big Blue Marquee will be at the Queanbeyan "Christmas in July" at the Queanbeyan showground tomorrow, Sunday 7th July.

08.01.2022 At this stage, weather permitting, we will begin shearing on Friday 30th November. Date will be confirmed closer to time.

07.01.2022 Due to circumstances beyond control, shearing has been delayed to the last week of November. Shearing dates still to be confirmed. New fleeces will be available at the shed on the day, or can be inspected and purchased by appointment after shearing completed.

06.01.2022 A chilly start to a great day at the Hall (ACT) market. Next month the Big Blue Marquee will be at the Queanbeyan "Christmas in July" market at the Queanbeyan Showground. We return to Hall for the August and September markets.

02.01.2022 A great day at the Queanbeyan "Christmas in July" yesterday. The weather stayed kind and the crowd started early and stayed all day. Our next outing will be the August market at Hall ACT on Sunday 4th August 2019.
