05.01.2022 For 3 months we have worked so hard behind the scenes to get together all our renovation plans and send them into Heritage Victoria. With no exaggeration, this has been a MASSIVE job! But finally this weekend we sent off what we hope is the last bit of information and plans to our fantastic Heritage Consultant, and now we wait for 8 weeks to receive back the exemptions and permits! I have found during this journey of renovating that the hardest part has not been the physical... work, but the planning and designing! It takes so much time and effort! Coming up with these permenant decisions, the forethought, care and endless hours, this is the foundation of renovating! Plan plan plan! Now we have the plans lined up, and while we await them, planned out our following 6 weeks, we have a lot of BIG things happening! I see the physical hard work side of this renovation as the FUN stuff! And we are SO excited to be getting on with it!
