I've spammed a million friends and family with invites to this page so if you accepted, thanks for your support :) Amaryllis Gowns Redesigned has been a slow growing idea based on harassing my adult daughter, Amber, with links to wedding dresses over a year (often followed by threats of being black listed), me missing being creative, a love of secondhand clothing and applying my own unique sense of fashion through it and finally, after a fortune cookie message, an ...epiphany on a sleepless night. I've been busy in the short time following sourcing new and preloved gowns and suits and all of the beautiful additions I will use to create unique pieces for the Amaryllis Gowns start up collection. Sit tight peeps, it will take a little of prep before some of these gowns are redesigned. Oh! Also, in my search I've come across some wonderfully unique peices that need minimal work so will have those up a little quicker. Will post sneak peeks as we go. Cheers Kali

At Amaryllis colour is part of our approach to the redesigning of gowns. Some are destined to stay in the realms of white, others are destined for more colourful ends. 16.01.2022 Lotus Vintage movie star inspired, Lotus has classic ivory styling while incorporating panels of oriental inspired vintage jacquard for splashes of silky colour. She has a figure hugging box pleat body, cap sleeves and corset back. The mermaid skirting shifts beautifully with movement. The corsert bodice and panel insert are vintage jaquard, with a bow at the rear for added glamour and colour drama. ... 15.01.2022 Amaryllis Gowns Redesigned creates gowns with a unique edge. We modify preloved and new gowns, adding colour, texture and versatility in sizing. Redesigned for people wanting a gown or suit with a difference, one that reflects their personality, for the second time around, vow renewal, civil ceremonies, balls, formals and any other special event.... Where possible our gowns include or have corset backs added to allow for 2 or 3 sizing options. This can also reduce if not remove the need for alterations. We also carry a limited range of pre-loved shoes, veils and accessories. With so much fashion going to landfill we try to do our bit to give these wonderful pieces a second chance to bring joy on peoples special occasion

14.01.2022 Amaryllis.....more then just gowns! While I've been trying to be patient waiting for frocks to arrive to work on I have been busy putting together a suite of suits. Like our gowns our suits are unique. Combining texture, colour, modern and vintage, formal to semi casual, variety and individuality is key. Anyone can wear an Amaryllis suit as a reflection of you, unique as you are or want to be. Our suits present a mix of masculine, femine and a combination of both. Sneak peek pic attached. Enjoy!

She comes with the cutest ruffled underskirt that is not attached which allows you to wear her with and without the fullness. 07.01.2022 Oh the fun that I am having...... deconstructing, colouring, adding, altering...i have a number of dresses in the making. Colour, texture, varying hem lines....they are all starting to come together and I'm excited for getting closer to releasing our first lot of gowns.
